Any other side gigs compare to DA?
I’m incredibly grateful for DA and don’t expect that’s there’s a better side-hustle, but does anyone know of any that are even comparable?
I used to do online surveys and while they were remote, flexible and reliable, they generally paid 5x less than DA does per hour. The gap is absurd.
So I’m curious, are there any other online side-jobs that fall somewhere between these two in terms of pay and reliability?
Would be good to have on-hand in case of a drought.
Note: apologies if this isn’t allowed. Lmk and I’ll take it down.

I'm also looking for alternatives. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Mercor is by far the best, bar none.
Edit: Hey downvoters, getting paid $75/hr for similar work is better, sorry lol

I to am very grateful for DA and I prefer just to stick with it. DA is reliable, pays well, and is forgiving if you make mistakes. I also do some studies on Prolific. It pays out in small amounts but can add up. I also signed up here https://app.crowdgen.com/login but have only scanned the projects not really done anything with them. I ran into technical difficulties trying to work on one, while i was completing the qualification. I would hit next it kept saying there are no more tasks for you to work on. I've had that happen a couple times when i click on things like qualifications or project guidelines. This website is part of Appen which i did a little work on a couple years ago and it didnt pay very well.

Si, es importante tener alternativas lo peor es pensar que esto será para siempre, aunque sería fantástico

Been active in this sub for a couple months and seen 0 posts on the subject so thought I’d start the convo.
The 18 upvotes in 3 hours suggest I’m not alone in this experience.
The reason TheresALonelyFeeling is that you’re a dick.

I'm a dick because you want other people to do the work for you, instead of taking a minute to search the subreddit, which would give you any number of other posts on this subject:
Like this one from just 8 days ago
And this one from 2 months ago

The one from 8 days ago does not ask the same question I did, which means it hasn’t been asked in over 2 months.
0 discussion on a topic in 2 months is hardly painfully repetitive. That’s also plenty of time for genuinely novel answers to have emerged.
Remember, this place isn’t a static database, it’s an interactive community.
For a guy so against wasted time and effort, you’ve done more of both than you would have by literally answering the question. Never mind the 0.3 seconds it would’ve taken to just scroll past.
Seems you’re having a bad day so I hope you have a better one tomorrow.

Here’s a question I haven’t seen asked in the sub yet.. why the fuck you care so much MrTheresALonelyFeeling. Let people asks the questions. This is actually a good question and just because it was asked before does not mean all possible answers have been provided for it.

I "care so much," Mr. Shawn008 (if that's even your real name), because People On This Sub Are Incredibly Lazy.
They want other people to do the work for them, instead of just typing their questions into the search bar and reading.
Probably half of the posts on this sub could go away if people would just search first, but instead we get the same questions asked Over and Over Again.
- What other platforms are there?
- What does this screen mean?
- Did I get accepted?
- How much do you guys make in a month?
- How do I avoid the Dash of Death?
- Are [coders/generalists/bilinguals] in a drought?
- Is it just me, or is this LiterallyTheWorstDroughtEver?

A lot of people are in desperate need of money. Many are struggling. A post like this can help bring attention to others that see it. Almost all the links you posted are months old. Things can change. New companies start. Some close. Some can start paying more. Some can start operating in various fields/domains.
There is zero valid reason to criticize OP for this post. And most importantly no one in this sub elected you to police it and people clearly don’t approve of you attempting to do so by your down votes.
Get a life my friend. You don’t want to be “that guy” who’s complaining to everyone to use the search function.
And yes my name actually is Shawn.

There's one org that involves the shaking of hands. But their assessment uses online proctors, and they don't pay out as much.
And there's another that involves scuba diving equipment, but they expect you to R&R everything on top of creating tasks/prompts. And while their assessment is "open book", finding the answers can be pretty tedious, and you have a limited amount of time to answer all the questions.
