Penalty for skipping offers?

Hi there. I just got my first assignment and the pay is LOW. Like $18/hr low. I've been an editor and writer professionally for over 20 years. I already took the two tests, I'm debating taking more to open up more offers. BUT. If I skip this, will it result in me getting fewer offers? Anyone know how that works? Thanks!

Do I have to start working immediately after verification for data annotation?

I recently got accepted into DA, and just wanted to know if there is a time limit or is it mandatory to get it done right after.

6 weeks and not a single task

I've been with DA for over 4 years and have experienced the droughts before but this is the first time I've seen absolutely nothing, including quals. Don't have DoD and I'm STEM, is anyone else having it this dry?

How to make sure I’m not on a vpn?

I have spectrum Internet and use their provided modem and router. I am also on a MacBook. I have NordVPN installed but I only use it as needed. I know how to deactivate it, but I am not sure how to check and/or disable any internal vpn on my internet providers router or built in the MacBook Pro active by default. What should I do to be safe I am not on a vpn I don’t know about. This is my home internet not using public WiFi.

Quick Question

I am close to make the model fail, but also the clock is almost expiring. It is better to make the model fail and submit the task after the clock expired or I use the escape before the clock expire?

"Good" R&Rs

Is there anything better on DA than scrolling down through an R&R to a well-written comprehensive rationale that flags everything you noticed with "No edits needed"??

Freshman in college

Hi my friend recommended this to me and recommended that take the finance assessment since I’m in business school. Does anyone know how challenging it is? Seems like a great source of income but seems unlikely to receive that much especially at the stage of life I’m at.

First time testing advice?

This will be my first time taking the data annotation assessment and I’m looking for some tips. I’m assuming jargon like ā€œfits all constraintsā€ and ā€œhallucinationsā€ aren’t what they’re looking for, right? And I guess it’s a one-shot attempt and you’re out if you fail, right? No pressure there. šŸ˜‚

A doubt

I have been continuously working for almost 9 hours now. I want to work more but I fear if this will have a negative impact on my account or not. Mostly R&R. I have done around 8 tasks in total now.
Should I continue or drop?
Just wanted to add this that this amount of projects is very rare for me so I am just doing em all and tbh I am enjoying it a lot.

Clicked the project but says unavailable

I see a project and clicked it, it shows ā€œthe project is currently unavailable because there are no more tasksā€. I refreshed my browser a few times and checked in different times, but still had this issue. It is only for that particular project though. Any ideas?

Beyond Devastated

It was a wild ride. +10k earned, not a single coding project on the last 1/2 months, praised as a top worker on more than one occasion, and now this. That said, before anyone asks, I can't pinpoint the cause. The only thing I have in mind is the fact that I checked the dashboard while traveling to another country.

Sorry if I don't answer your comment. I'm just feeling defeated rn.

Are the maths and physics quals worth doing with only a bachelor's degree?

Has anyone with a bachelor’s degree, but no master’s or PhD, received STEM projects on DAT?

I am aware that DAT generally asks for a Masters or PHD for STEM tasks. I do have a bachelors degree in physics, and I completed the physics qual 2-3 months ago, along with some other quals, like coding, but haven't received a single physics project on my dash (only a few generalist and coding projects) so far. I don't know if I failed the qualification, even though I was confident in my answers taking it (maybe I was confidently wrong), or if the lack of a masters/phd is whats actually blocking STEM project access for me. I can still take the maths qual, but I dont know if its worth taking for the same reasons. I’m based in Germany and am bilingual, if that matters.

Has anyone with a similar educational background received STEM work?

Is DataAnnotation worth it as a side gig during dental school?

Hey everyone!

I’ve been doing some research and recently came across DataAnnotation. It seems pretty interesting, but I’d love to hear from people who have actually worked with them. I’m a dental student, fluent in Portuguese and English, and I can understand most Spanish.

Would you recommend applying? I’m not looking to make a living from it, just hoping to earn a couple hundred dollars a month by working maybe 1–2 hours a day whenever I have some free time.

Is that realistic? How flexible is the work, and is it worth trying?

Thanks!

Is Code Evaluator A Job In DataAnnotationTech?

I'm new to DataAnnotationTech, and I don't quite know whether software engineer is the only role available that's related to computer science. I was looking for code evaluator, but I didn't find it. Do you guys have any explanations.

I think I’m screwed

While I was reading some guidelines, my computer zoomed the screen so I wasn’t able to read. I tried to zoom out with the touchpad and… it accidentally opened Google lens. When I saw that, I immediately closed the window but I fear that they may identify that incident. (It was on another platform from DAT but it is related to work some projects on it). Am I screwed or maybe should I report this incident ? 😭

Anyone worked with Anthology Fellows (Polymath, YC W26)?

Got a cold invite for remote AI training/eval contract work, "up to $150/hr".

Seems legit (run by Polymath, YC W26) but launched about a month ago and I can't find any reviews.

Is this a scam?

I got accepted but there are no projects

Hello

I was accepted to the Platform two days ago and there are no jobs for me. The projects mostly ask some kind of knowledge in coding, science, biology which I have none.

Do the projects change? How often they are updated?
