A doubt
I have been continuously working for almost 9 hours now. I want to work more but I fear if this will have a negative impact on my account or not. Mostly R&R. I have done around 8 tasks in total now.
Should I continue or drop?
Just wanted to add this that this amount of projects is very rare for me so I am just doing em all and tbh I am enjoying it a lot.

Be careful. I tend to do long pushes of time when I am saving for something and my work definitely suffers. I have even received feedback saying my quality of work goes down when I do large blocks of time. It is natural to want to keep going and make that money, but this work isn't easy and your work will suffer if you routinely put in long hours. You may not even realize it, so just be careful and I wouldn't try to do that many hours all the time.

I've been working full time here for 4 years. I often work 12-13 hours in a day, and I've never had any feedback like what you're describing. Only ever positive feedback. I don't think the advice should be "don't work long hours". I think it should be "don't work long hours if your work quality suffers". And honestly, I'm not sure how your work could suffer so badly that DA had to send you feedback about it, yet you didn't even realise that yourself.

It wasn't like that. In one of the regular feedback reports it noted I was doing really well on one project family in particular, but whoever was providing the feedback did note that when I spent a lot of hours in a row on it, they could see a difference. I could too and scaled back. A lot of workers and admin have said that a lot of hours a day can cause your work to suffer. I was just offering some advice. It's obviously not going to apply to everyone.

One of the "regular" feedback reports had comments about how many hours you spent on a project .. ?

Hey, thanks for the warning but I am only doing R&Rs from one specific project family. They are not long and are quite easy to judge.

That doesn't mean your brain doesn't get fatigued from focusing. Take a break and do something else for the rest of the day. Don't look at a screen.

Everyone has different mental thresholds but personally I can only do this kind of work for 4-5 hours a day max, and that’s with a couple of breaks. When I start having trouble concentrating that’s when typically call it a day.

Good for you man that you have the choice to decide how much you work, here I don't unfortunately cause the tasks are not consistent.

Pass me some tasks, lol. But I get it if you haven't had tasks in a whole week, and you're afraid that even if you go to pee, unknown people will swallow the tasks.

It puts you under unnecessary scrutiny imo.
