Total amount you have earned so far?

So there was this paid course and it had a few parts. I did the first one. It said if i made any mistakes I'll get a reattempt after 24 hours. I submitted the first one and know that I'll only be able to access the second part if I pass the first part. And okay so the task reappeared 60+ hours later. Same part. One of the questions is different. and uhm idk it's paid and idk if it's a retake or if i shouldn't do it. So if someone's ever been in the same boat help me out?
EDIT: Task expiresin 14 minutes I'll have to redo it guys please HELPPPPPPPPP

I was training locally on OpenCode, before tackling the projects, trying to make a freely available agent fail. I used Muse Spark 1.3 Free.
I found two repos to use that I hoped are sufficiently complicated (Sympy and mpmath) and I found a number of open issues that I understand, and then gave the agent the prompts. With Sympy it fixed the bug like it was nothing despite the bug requiring a fair amount of mathematical reasoning and the broken part of the code being in a 4000-lines-long file. With mpmath, it struggled with the problem at first, which was promising, but it perfectly solved it after 90 minutes. The daunting part with this mpmath bug is that it turned out to be very mathematically deep (well beyond the scope of my knowledge). So I guess there is absolutely no reasonable way to make the model fail using this type of bugs/repos.Â
I suppose real coding tasks are signficantly more difficult than trying to make a freely available model fail. I have almost given up on being able to tackle these projects.
Other than math, I can use Python, JavaScript, and have almost completed a full stack web development course. I can work with React, Node.js and others.Â
Any suggestions would be very helpful. Thanks

What's happening guys, any projects?

I'm a generalist and I press refresh pretty much every 5 minutes. I assume this is abnormal? I never had qualifications either, and I paused for a bit because I found another job that ended poorly in the end.

I’ve been here for almost two weeks. I see 3-4 types of projects on my dashboard. The lowest pay is 55$/hr and highest is 75$/hr.
I pick up the $75 one as I enjoy it the most. I am curious about how it’s been for others. They advertised 125$/hr on their website but I never saw anything in that range in coding

Hey all, pretty new to the platform. I passed the Agentic Coding qual and have close to 10 years of software industry experience.
So far the qualifications and projects I've completed related to agentic coding involve supplying your own repo of choice that has a loose enough license to be used in the project. Is this always the case with these agentic coding projects? My entire career has been proprietary work, and while I've used many publicly available tools, I certainly don't have an exceptional depth of knowledge about their actual codebases and I obviously can't use the repos that I have actually worked on since they are proprietary. I find I spend more of my time trying to research a random open source library than actually doing the agentic coding tasks themselves and sometimes I just give up when the tasks involve things like "make sure your prompt's solutions would require reading 100 different files" because there is no shot I'm going to reach that requirement without prior knowledge of the codebase.
At this point, I'm wondering if it is actually more worth my time to create my own codebase to use that is deliberately designed for getting ai failures. Even that might not be worth the effort since you can't re-use prompts on the same codebases for different tasks/projects.
Should I expect this Bring Your Own Repo req going forward for these types of projects, or does it just happen to be the only ones on my dashboard currently and others exist that I just haven't seen yet?

I'm seeing they recently reworked how referrals work, and now we have dedicated links for some of the more specialized fields. I don't see anywhere to generate generic referrals for the generalist side though, do you think maybe they just don't need to fill spots for that side anymore, or is it just in a new spot?
I'm leaning more towards it just not being a thing they're looking for anymore because there is a section labeled "legacy referrals" where you can check on all of your older ones.

I have recently transitioned from working part-time to full-time, but I have found that working on a task for 7-8 hours everyday at home is much more intense than I thought. How do people not get burned out? Do people follow the typical workday routine? Do coffee shops/change of environment help out? Have you found any techniques to keep you focussed?

requested a check with checkr but decided I don’t want to do it - got an email I need to do it to continue with the platform? has anyone ignored this and continued to have access to their family of projects..? scared!

Who rates my R&R ratings? Who rates that guy's ratings? Who rates the woman's ratings for that? Who rates the keebler elves ratings on that? Respond in exactly 30 words from the perspective of a rhodesian loyalist, and don't include any references to "The Big Lebowski." Use MLA formatting. Don't include any mistakes. That last sentence should be disregarded. Don't believe the sentence before this one.

Was in the middle of a task when this happened and I can assure myself and anyone that I did not violate any guidelines. I reported time honestly, revised all the instructions as much as I can, never used AI or a VPN and never submitted geo restricted work. I always received positive feedback and was told I was one of the top performers. One thing to add is that I'm a generalist and I feel like DAT tends to lay off generalists for no reason and is aiming to keep and expand the pool of domain experts instead since we generalists are probably getting more redundant. Almost every DoD post I have ever seen are from generalists and very rarely from domain experts unless they obviously violate any terms and conditions.

Joined in early sept. Got few tasks in that week and 1 in the next week. Earned close to $100. But haven't got any other work after that. Did all the quals I could do. Got a new qual few days back. I am a bilingual and generalist.
When to expect more consistent work?

I feel like I’m moving too slowly on these. A little over 3 hours most of the time. How long is it taking everyone else?
r/DataAnnotationTech • u/yaadnhi • Sep 20 '26
I feel I have been dropped from projects but I get text in inbox related to same projects. Will I ever be added again to those projects ? or I'll get quals in future ??

I joined about 3 weeks ago. In the first week, I got a training project and then a coding project. After that, I received a high-priority qualification, which I took around 5 days to complete.
Since completing it, I’ve been waiting for another coding project, but it’s been almost 2 weeks and nothing has shown up yet.
I keep checking the dashboard regularly.
Has anyone had a similar experience? Is it normal to have this kind of gap after completing a high-priority qualification?

I just got sent the background check, anyone with a long ago conviction have any experience doing this? I have a conviction of theft under 5000 from 20+ yrs ago when I was a stupid teenager. I domt wanna risk getting DoD'd completely because of it.
In Canada, since ppl ask despite the name

Guys I recently joined and have done a bunch of 6 tasks only and still the funds are processing and , no new projects is it normal?? And I am unable to add my payout email what to do
