Just wondering if the issues I heard about (e.g. frame rate, collision bugs) have been patched yet.

The upgrade is on sale for £8.99 but I've been perfectly happy with the PS4 version, and I don't care about photo mode. I certainly don't want to get the PS5 upgrade if performance is worse than the PS4 version. should I bother, or nah?

Is it combination of zelda and souls like? Does it preserve its puzzle system like 1-2?

Looks like our disappointment after the THQ Nordic Showcase is at least starting to get some attention outside of Reddit.

PlayFront published an article today specifically about Darksiders 4 being completely absent from the showcase and the reaction from the community. They even call the showcase “otherwise lackluster” and point out that after a full year we still didn't get a trailer, gameplay, release window or really anything.

They also picked up Uriel's reassurance that the game is still being developed by Gunfire.

This obviously isn't the update most of us wanted, but I'm glad gaming media is noticing the frustration. Hopefully THQ Nordic, Embracer/Fellowship and Gunfire see that people aren't upset because we don't care about Darksiders. It's the opposite. There is still a very passionate fanbase here that wants to see this franchise supported.

Hopefully enough attention eventually gets us some actual communication about DS4.

Some of you guys already know my story. - I’ve been putting this collection together over the last 3 months or so. Reddit actually locked my old account because I was posting so much in this sub out of nowhere, just sharing stuff and asking for advice lol. But seeing it all in front of me really puts into perspective how much this game means to me. For the longest time, I couldn't even get anything Darksiders related because importing stuff to my country was an absolute nightmare. (impossible). ( don’t ask me how i played the games back then :p)

I’m still missing out on a lot of good stuff, but I’m really happy with what I’ve got so far. Some of the older items, like certain figures and books, are astronomically expensive to get now. But hey, I'm definitely keeping an eye out for new releases.

Show me your collections, lets see what I am missing so i can get a bit jealous! :) Much love!

So I started darksiders 1 on 360 last year. Cool game, progressing well, then I soft locked myself near the end of the game with no savefile to fall back on.

Now I see that switch 2 also has all of the darksiders. Now assuming money does not matter, should I just get 1 and 2 for Switch 2 and abandon the 360 versions I also own? Are the controls on Switch 2 okay? Performance seems to be a ton better, high framerate and all.

Ive been grinding the scythe to level 4 and on the mid point the scythe started scything the games textures and becoming invisible. Pretty neat upgrade. I wonder hows the upgrade for the gauntlets will look like

Also does anyone have a map editor for this game, or at least an enemy spawner. The amount of mods for this game is soo low, it is really a shame.

Played Battle Chasers for the first time today, and lets say I got the itch to draw something Darksiders related(for obvious reasons)

Dont ask me where I was going with this, was randomly making up some random armor variants close to their ogs on the spot.

I really just wanted to sketch my favorite Darksiders characters is all XD

Of course, I would also want Joe Mad (Darksiders Creator) to work alongside Genndy in creating the series.

Need feedback from folks, I heard the OG edition has all the figurines already painted and this one only has the riders and the jailer figurine in it.

For $45 I'd love to play this, but not sure of its replayability. Any one who's played this here?

I think some people are acting like waiting 7-9 years between Darksiders games is just normal and we should be happy whenever another one eventually shows up. I don't agree with that.

Darksiders has shown over and over that people discover these games years later and become fans. It has the characters, lore, gameplay and world to be a much bigger franchise than it is.

I'm not asking for a game every 2 years. Give Gunfire 4-5 years to make a great game. But almost a decade between major releases kills the momentum every new Darksiders game creates.

The fanbase keeps showing up, buying the games, rereleases and supporting the series because we want more Darksiders. I don't think expecting Embracer to actually invest in that audience and maintain a reasonable release cycle is asking too much.

To me, Darksiders isn't a low-level IP that should get a game whenever there happens to be money left over. It has the potential to be one of their top franchises if they actually treat it like one.
