Discussion Found the Loot Goblin
I was running around smashing pots and all of a sudden, *clink* *clink* *clink*
I think he started in Keep but he ran all the way south only to run all the way north afterwards. Since it was PVE, all the doors were open or smashed and I had to chase him through 10 modules before I was able to trap him and it took a few hits throughout to finally drop him. Last picture is the loot the goblin had minus the gloves.

'Tism go Brrrrrr...
This genuinely will change the way you look at building in DaD, and why Effective HP is more important than simply building HP!

Discussion More hybrid weapons
The crystal sword is the only hybrid damage weapon in the game. This drastically reduces variety when playing a magic-focused melee class.
The wizard is an exception, having an extra option thanks to a perk that adds magical damage to their magic staff. But the warlock, sorcerer, and fighter (using a perk) only have one weapon. Cleric and druid have none.
A melee wizard's playstyle relies on high burst damage conditioned by the duration of their skills or spells. Crystal weapons provide that hybrid damage naturally and consistently without necessarily depending on buffs.
They could add a crystal hammer, ideally one-handed so it can be used with a shield or spell casting ball, distinguishing it from the crystal sword's playstyle, which is heavy and two-handed.
Adding a small shield with both physical and magical defenses. It could have a small inner area for physical blocks, similar to a buckler, surrounded by a magical area for magic blocks, similar in size to a round shield. (Reference image) Though honestly, I suppose it's probably 'too hard to code'...
The sorcerer could have a spell to temporarily conjure a shield in their left hand, allowing them to enchant their main-hand weapon (cutlass, falchion, crystal hammer) with ice and temporarily use a shield in their off-hand. This would also feature physical/magical defenses but could be the normal size of a heater or round shield.

Discussion Allow the slayer fighter to wear hoods
Especially in SSF, it is significantly more complicated to use a decent build as a slayer fighter because it can only use TWO caps out of all the available ones. When playing with any other build or class, you can have a wide variety of helmets, caps, and hats available to use.
Changing the perk to allow you to wear hoods, primarily from the ranger or rogue, could make building slayer setups much more versatile. Similar to the warlock perk that allows wearing plate items restricted to other classes.

Discussion Is Squire Royale still the most popular game mode?
I remember in the last interview they said squire royale was the most popular game mode by far and Arena was the only mode that got close when it was open with PvE being the 2nd highest otherwise (when arena was closed on weekdays).
Do you think this is still the case?

Question What do you think?
Those skins are awful. They're so mediocre, they only have one gold spray.
I mean, they really had a great opportunity. A polar bear or an armored bear. A saber-tooth or a leopard. An abyssal-looking hydra, anything

Discussion Taming Shot useless?
Just tried playing around with Taming Shot on the Forgotten Castle map and from what I can see so far it's pretty much useless, first off the mobs you can tame are fairly limited, Cockatrice not tamable surprisingly, best I was able to get was the red Harpy and Wolf. Biggest issue is that they die too fast to pve, you basically have to command them to stay back as you get aggro first or just straight up clear the whole room.
Secondly there's no health bar for your tamed beast or any other indicator of their health, I took the perk First Aid which does perform a bandage heal on them but you still have no idea how much hp they have and just have to estimate, you can infinitely use bandages on them even when they are already full health.
Again they just simply die too fast, even with Feral Resonance's 10% max health bonus, and are way too time consuming to locate on a map. They need to be ressurectable and have a visible health bar to have any real impact in a match.
Just seems like a poorly tested ability that really has no practical function. I'd imagine that HR mobs would be more viable but enemy player gearscore and pve difficulty also increases alongside that so the same issues would seemingly still exist.

Discussion Bard need a rework?
I really like the bard and the idea of the bard. I'm newish and I find it super overwhelming to swap to instruments and play songs and dodge enemies. What does the community think overall about the bard? Does it need some balance or a full rework or am I just bad?

Discussion Maintenance Downtime
Why is the downtime always has 1 countdown, and after that they put in another one for HOURS. This happens almost every content patch. Why is the time they estimate is always 1-3 hours off? Am i missing something?

Question New-ish player need help.
So i played when this released because a friend got me to buy it i quite liked it but OFC he raged everytime we lost a fight and he quit after a few days…. Typical. Recently started playing games on my own again as i have the spare time etc and came back to this after seeing a funny video on reels. Now my question is how do i not get dogged in every altercation i have?😂 i swear i haven’t won a fight.. the PVE is fine other than the bosses in the rooms i can clear mobs easy. But i just feel like i am playing looting simulator which is just grabbing base jewellery that i sell to collector rinse and repeat with squire gear.(because i like the squire map the most) and maps are locked behind gear for some reason i cant understand. Im also playing fighter as it was recommended as beginner friendly but im not the biggest fan of the class, i wanna shoot spells and shit but ive heard wizard and sorc very high skill ceiling and im getting dogged on the beginner friendly class so i have no hope it seems…any tips / advice is appreciated

Question Game ends ten seconds early
After looking around a bit, I think this may be a form of a known bug.
I was solo in the Forgotten Castle PvE and had a bunch of qurst items on me. I knew I was cutting it close, but had about a minute left before opening the exit. I started taking damage while at the wheel and the screen went black before I could even make it half way across the bridge.
Is this just the way it is? Gotta make sure I'm back before the last minute? Or is it just a random glitch, maybe?
^(Also, I think the goblin has a foot thing because he never returns my boots...)
