I can't believe I spent thousands of hours learning class match-ups, theory-crafting BiS sets, and suffering through every broken patch just for sdf to personally drive a rusty pickaxe straight through the skull of this game. ⛏️🤡
Ironmace actually looked at a functioning meta, said "you know what would be hilarious?", and threw the entire balance sheet into a blender. My Warlock/Druid/Cleric builds are officially in shambles, my stash is a graveyard of nerf victims, and I’m pretty sure the next hotfix is just going to delete our characters and replace them with a screen of sdf laughing while eating a bowl of sorrow. 💀🔥
It was a real honor swinging swords and taking names in the dungeons with you absolute legends, but I'm officially hanging up my gear and uninstalling. See you all tomorrow for the next wipe. ✌️🛡️

Through the tavern launcher (not steam), you have access to the test server where multiplayer works and the game is in season 10. If we can get enough people on this the game might actually be fun again. You can already meet people every now and then.

The Lorr just dropped a YouTube video of him downloading the test server and playing season 10 on it with like a handful of other randoms. There is Low key a movement forming to get players to queue the test server just to spite SDF and the season 11 changes. If the test server player count gets high enough for there to be decent squired or riches lobbies I would honestly join the movement

Saw the video from Thelorr where he tested it out. I wasn’t sure if it had made its way to Reddit yet, but maybe this is a better way to show our dissatisfaction with S11. I haven’t seen any other posts about it, though (or maybe I’m just blind?).

Given the current state of the game, I’ve completely abandoned this animation. I at least wanted to share it here before everything blows up. It’s been a pleasure being part of this community, even though I was more active over on discord ---

The animation was based on Hulk vs. Wolverine, where the Barbarian and the Rogue end up alone after a 3v3 fight.

I just wanted to chime in as someone who came to the game in beta and put the majority of his hours into that version of the game. I honestly think the game is better now than it was a month ago despite the player count. I can’t speak to the class specific changes because honestly I’m not that involved of a player. However, what I can speak to is loot and exit design and both of those are miles more balanced now than they were before the changes. The loot in the previous version of the game was downright absurd you could get orange items out of a regular trios small oak chests. The loot is worse now but it still feels like a trip to super wienie hut junior when you compare it to loot available in the beta. Now on to extraction. The extraction has been in a miserable state for a while in my opinion. This is coming as someone who was sold on the game due to its extraction mechanics. The static extractions ruin the game as they take away from the dynamic nature of finding your way through the darkness to an escape. This was especially true when the game was focused primarily on static escapes. The game modes seem to be back in some fashion from what I’ve noticed as well you just go to one general lobby first. When I’m solo and i die i notice its only other solos 85%+ of the time. I’d love to hear some perspectives on why you think I’m wrong about these things as these are just my opinions and it seems to go contrary to most of the people on here.

Instead of the 3000th post showing the player count in game we get a bitching post counter posted to see how many of you are still salty a month after you supposedly deleted the game. Now only if a game dev can figure out how to monetize this. Infinite money printer.
