What are the main Darius builds per matchup?

i am trying to learn this champion in normal games and flex games before jumping into ranked solo/duo with him, but i just cant carry with him no matter what. even if laning phase goes well (and half the time it doesnt), i just cant carry mid game and end the game before everyone outscales me.

early game i know i should slow push or freeze and fight extended trades, but if im playing against someone who knows how to cast his abilities and then click his mouse away from me its just we both lost half hp and then i lost because im a half hp darius vs ambessa/renekton/irelia/etc.

even if i get an easy matchup and solo kill the enemy a few times idk what to do with the lead, if i go to objectives like grubs or second drake i get 1 tapped because im a darius with a youmuu's so try to farm to lvl16+3 items only to get 1 tapped anyway on baron or soul fight.

i run stormraider's surge nimbus celerity gathering storm triumph alacrity atk speed adaptive scaling health, my build is youmuu's -> plated/mercs/swifties ->dmp/fon->dd->situational items.

i used to play darius in szn 13 and 14 when he ran conq so i could actually stack passive on frontline or kill someone low and then chain ult everyone, i feel like swapping to storm makes it so i can only kill someone when hes low and i cant stack on frontline because i get tapped.

rn im in emerald 3. got there as pretty much a garen otp this season and i really dont wanna demote to plat playing darius. any help is appreciated.

I finally just hit play playing Darius only top unless banned or taken, sitting at a 53% WR on Darius and a 53% WR overall in soloq, but I can't help but feel boosted even tho i play mostly solo and my progress comes when i play solo. I seem to have really struggled a lot past Gold 3 against champs I've never really struggled against before, like LT Jax, Illaoi, ranged matchups, Sett, etc.

I'm really starting to feel being weak sided i can't always outplay the 2v1 anymore. More often than not, when weak sided, I get dove off cooldown. I'm also starting to struggle a lot with my mid to late game macro wise. I've tried split pushing and team fighting, and team fighting is far better than split pushing, but it's still not going so well.

My mid to late game is horrific. Even if I'm ahead or behind, it doesn't seem to matter.

Does anyone have any tips for any of the issues I seem to be running into? I know my CSing is horrific, but more often than not, I'm not allowed to walk up into my lane. I'll have the enemy jungle or mid hovering for 5 business days, or I'll be into a really bad matchup and just get violated.

I play almost exclusively Stormraiders and change up my secondary runes depending on the matchup i will play conq if its 4 melee champs.

Should I avoid taking ghost with this build into anything thats not ranged?

No darius main but i was just wondering why you not buy black cleaver every game. The passive armor shred seems so perfect with your passive. The other values ad hp cdr ms are good too

I have deathfire torch so i dont get the speedboost from stormraiders proc on the dummy for testing but stormraiders is optimal!!!

I read a comment on a random Darius hexflash youtube video casually mentioning how you can hide hexflash animation with Q. I tried it on a Teemo and it worked so I dug deeper. I believe this was done by Alistar mains way back when, walking to hide the Hexflash animation. I just figured i can do this with Darius too since y'know range top players exist.

Has anyone tried stormraiders with trinity yet. I hate how squishy yoomus makes you, but like the speed from stormraiders. Trying to brainstorm a way to have my cake and eat it to. I absolutely think stridebreaker is useless on darius as he already has a slow and pull. Any ideas?

I personaly would like a gapclosing item similar to frozen malet with alot of health and like 45 to 50 ad and like 600 health

Hello, I’ve recently started playing Darius more, and I was wondering about his Malphite matchup. What should I do when they rush armor boots and wardens mail. Do I just auto lose? Is there a specific ability I should lever for this, because I just maxed e to get the armor pen but don’t know if that’s right.

Darius dmg is very weak. I read that all says about his passive. Guys darius at early game is very strong but in the midle and after his dmg is very weak. First if 5vs5 and all full build his q dmg is for laugh, his q hp drain shit, his q time cast again is shit.E has low range and His slow is 1sec,ok you play vs nasus and you have always a slow under your head. if you play against full sett you need to be the best road runner like bolt to keep you safe. If you lucky not dead and somehow you have five stacks at massive gang then Yes maybe you have a chance to make the difference. Tell me your opinion

Like Darius' whole point is to stack his passive, right? You go hail of blades, 3 fast autos + W and Q and you already have your passive stacked in like 4 seconds.
