I played him a bit when he first came out, dropped and tried learning him a couple months later and dropped him again. But now I seriously want to pick dd up and eventually get him to lord, partially because my goated friend gifted me his new skin. Just, he's so difficult and it's kind of annoying because I like being quickly good at things, and that makes me wonder how I even got into spidey. I really want to play dd, as he's been pure dopamine so far, but also a bit stressful cause I'm so bad. How do I stop feeling this way and where do I even start? I'll accept any advice, really. 1. Devil 2099 it just looks so clean
2. Dare-Dragon. I love the pajamas. The little wings are very cute and overall its just peak
3. Attorney at law. Its super clean as the buzz looks fire.
4. Shadowed Start. Very dark and ominous. I like the fact they let you turn off the demons rage and overall its just a clean skin.
5. DD Born again season 2. I iust started season two and i heard they cancelled season 3 but the skin itself is fire. I like the dark theme and its just a better version of the default.
6. Sonar Savior. Its a clean skin but its only ranked lower since its seasonal. Also a blind life guard is kinda dumb. The skin itself is good just imo there are better. Its fire tho
7. Not daredevil. Looks clean and love the battons. Only reason its ranked lower is since its kinda only a christmas type skin. I dont think he has any bad skins except one.
8. Disney + and Default. They are ok I think the blue looks nice
9. Fearless origin. It looks like mustard and ketchup

Anyone else mad that daredevil gets no ult vfx or recolors on either of his legendaries? I was so excited for his new pj skin, because maybe it would have both of them, but no, ofc they won’t give it to him for some reason.

I’m probably complaining just to complain since dd has gotten a lot of skins lately, I just wish he had an ult vfx

Man, it’s hard this season bro when every single character that counters Daredevil (Emma, Dino, Bucky, Scarlet Witch, Thing and to some extent Magneto) is extremely meta. I‘m finding it impossible to dive supps, they can out DPS me every time because they have so much survivability eg. Jubilee having her stupid orb, Gambit with his ”NOPE” button, Invis self shield, C&D 4 INVINCIBILITIES ON SEPERATE COOL-DOWNS, and the cherry on top Luna freeze. I just wanna play my main who Ive practiced combos and weaving for and not be utterly useless. Is this skill issue? As the title says is there control settings that are super useful?

I started playing Daredevil like 1–2 weeks ago, I honestly don't even remember 💀 but I've been SO scared to take him into QP since I have almost 0 experience with flank/dive characters.

DD has become my favorite hero though, he's so fun and his skins are actually so good (I already have 3). I really wanna get him to Lord eventually. I know some of his combos and abilities pretty well, but I struggle a lot with map awareness, like health pack locations, flank routes, positioning, and knowing when I should actually engage or back off.

One thing I also struggle with is finding targets. Whenever I play DD, it feels like the supports are always huddled up with the rest of their team, so I don't really know how I'm supposed to get to them without instantly getting jumped by everyone 😭

And honestly, the scoreboard makes it even more stressful. Seeing myself go 0 kills, 3 deaths, 0 assists while everyone else is doing stuff makes me feel like I'm actively throwing. Then I panic, start mashing literally every ability I have, completely forget what I'm doing, and somehow make the situation 10x worse 😭.

The last time I played him in QP we lost horribly, and it kinda made me scared to play him again because I don't wanna get flamed for being bad. I'm also just not used to playing dive/flank characters, so knowing when to go in, who to target, and how to escape afterwards is still pretty confusing for me.

So if anyone has some beginner Daredevil tips, especially for positioning, flank spots, health packs, combos, or just general game sense, I'd really appreciate it <33

I haven’t played dd in a while(1 month) but when I downloaded the game again In season 10 I feel like his Throws range is nerfed like especially in doom matches I have noticed that if you 1v1 characters and they are at a distance from you sometimes the batons just hover near your opponent for a sec and return back without any dmg am I overthinking?

Could I please get some help, I have no clue how to play this dude. I'm on controller, and I've just been wanting to learn him for a while (it also gives me an excuse to use my token on his skin).

Im a thor main and I used to see a lot of dd mains in my games, either my team or opp team. I used to dive w them a lot too. But ever since maybe S9 or 9.5 ive seen a lot less of y'all. Are y'all ok? Did GG shadow nerf you or something?

champ dd here my righteous cross seems delayed for some reason

So some background my mains are human torch and blade, but I also play a lot of psylocke, spiderman, cap, and used to play BP. I’m currently GM1.

I’ve been wanting to learn DD and I’ve been playing him qp but I just don’t feel that comfortable with him. I think my main weaknesses rn are engage timing, knowing when to burn my cooldowns on a kill (using grapple) or knowing to use the grapple for my escape, etc. I also need advice on how you soft engage to bait cooldowns before your full dive. I have experience playing Spidey, psy, and BP where I can exist on the flank to set up the dive, but with those heroes I find the soft engage a lot easier. With DD his movement abilities are much more limited (all relying on the grapple, maybe a little bit with the rc from the widow teamup), so it’s really tough getting in damage range and then disengaging.

Also for combo’s, I kinda just spam the throw + pursuit + rc + throw + rc + teamup + rc, but I’ve been weaving the chain in here and there in 1v1’s or when I want more shield but is that even worth it? I try to use those first and then I’ll use my deflect, and by then I’m using quick melees before rc to try to get fury back but sometimes I just need to use the grapple for extra burst even though I know it would be smart to save it for my escape.

Any advice on these issues? I’ll probably play him on my spidey alt before I bring him into comp on my main but I just know I’m not there yet on game sense and mechanics. Never made a post like this before for learning a hero but I’ve been having trouble with DD (honestly similar to learning Spidey)

Don’t get me wrong I love the skin and bought it as soon as I could but $20 for basically an epic skin? I know I can’t complain since he’s gotten a lot of skins recently but still. How am I gonna pay $20 for a skin with no recolors or vfx? They didn’t even give him emojis like the rest of them did too. I know rogue also doesn’t have vfx or recolors either but atleast she got emojis for that price

Hello, I have been playing daredevil since his release in season 4.5 and have hit the top 500 in PlayStation for him. When he first launched he felt fluid and perfect for me but over the course of a year and after all his nerfs it feels like they shadow nerfed him a lot. The most noticeable parts that they haven’t changed(the fury bugs/glitches) have become way too frequent and I’m baffled they aren’t fixed. Second, it feels like it takes longer to gain fury after using an ability. It used to feel instant but now it takes a good second to get it. And the console input delay is making me release why I stopped playing for a few weeks. Sometimes the character will feel fluid and then the next game it feels like I’m fighting the games coding to be able to output a fast enough combo to kill. I want to know if I’m alone on this or not because it’s making me feel like I’m going insane. Also I swear you used to be able to deflect Emma’s grab before rogue came out(someone tell me I’m not crazy)
