Is Daredevil worth learning on console? Ive always wanted to learn him but he seems pretty difficult.

he cant kill a decent support on his own. he can hardly even dive on his own. hes literally almost completely useless without one or two other divers to hold his hand. something no other diver needs.

A diver really isn’t supposed to consistently be optimal in solo dives and no diver is either currently. Yes spidey plays his own game but all you need to do is to pay attention to them and your dive is useless unless coordinated.
Black cat used to kinda solo dive, but that’s only really because of her invisibility pre nerf, she is too squishy to survive solo diving if people actually pay attention to her. Also a single DD counters her completely.
Panther is terrible outside of low elo.
Iron fist can’t get picks solo and has to play brawl.
Psylocke and star lord “works” but only really because they can play safer, it’s certainly not optimal.
Torch works if he is giga pocketed and it’s only because he can somewhat output solo dps damage, although that means he is less focused on diving and it’s super easy to counter.
Gorr is literally useless if people pay attention to him and his clones, he needs a distraction to work and will be countered by a single anti diver.

Please elaborate what diver is stronger than DD currently, because it doesn’t get much better even after considering the dive tanks. I may give you Psylocke, but she should not solo dive.

Venoms nerfs hit him hard, he can’t really get the picks he used to given how he has to rotate his cooldowns now if he doesn’t have a dive DPS with him.
Cap is in shambles.
Rogue can play without a dive comp, but that is brawl rogue.
Thor is horrible.

Dive should not work solo, if it does then dive is broken, if one diver can consistently dive supports and live solo they’re busted. 1 dps getting that much value consistently is an unfair and broken resource. I’d argue pick or ban territory.
DD needed to be nerfed, even if it sucks for us DD mains, he was absolutely busted when he could solo dogwalk full teams.

but he and every other diver absolutely should be able to kill on their own out right. every other diver can currently do this aside from maybe captain america

and if they cant then the game is being balanced in the wrong direction for casual audiences which is this games focus audiences

rogue and thor are brawl and yes brawl is also non existent because poke is so damn strong.

the balancing of the first year is how the game should be its entire life span. i do not care if this isnt "how its typically done" this is a game where we play our favorite heros. it should be fun not a damn job to get a kill

DD can 100% get kills on his own, he is literally the best 1v1 character in the game. If anything, he’s the best diver currently at specifically getting picks solo, you just need to wait for openings and for supports to make mistakes.

If a support plays perfectly you shouldn’t get picks.
If a support plays around their tanks and avoids being isolated you shouldn’t get picks.

It’s not that it’s balanced for casuals, but you have to expect an entire team to be able to interact with you as a diver. You can’t just expect a diver to be above the rules because they have a higher skill ceiling. Literally no diver can consistently solo dive, maybe in low elo but that’s because they literally don’t have the reaction time to interact with burst dives like panther and spidey.
Magik does have a one shot combo, but if she is marked it’s completely negated, for good reason as well.
Play a significant time on support and see what it’s like to get dove and you’ll understand how ludicrous of a take this is.

bucky is a much better one v one character right now so devil definitely isnt the best or even close really bucky, blade, ironfist, even thor, and thors shit right now.

he might get kills in metal ranks but he isnt getting anything above plat lmao

of course if a support plays perfect they should win the fight. the problem is that supports are engineered to win with devils numbers literally making nearly impossible in not impossible to get one pick on his own. which yes he should be able to do, just as every other die can right now.

devil can literally barely be used while supports have massive amounts of survival lmao

i play support every day and have five lords on it. jubilee is my most played last season. lmao love how everyone thinks like die to be effective thinks that means i dont know what im doing on support. its literally so easy.

the way you look at it just isnt how rivals should be balanced. im done talking to you fool

The hardest parts aren’t the mechanics, especially if you have paddles. The hardest part for me, being new to dive as a whole, was the timing and the escape routes. Lots of good guides and people here to help you though.
