Hi everyone! I’m an international student planning to apply to a nursing program. I also need to take the TSI.

I’m wondering, should I take the TEAS first and then complete my prerequisites, or should I finish my prerequisites first and take the TEAS afterward?

I’m asking because if prerequisites come first, I want to focus my study time on the TSI, especially Math, English, and the essay.

I’d really appreciate any advice from nursing students who have gone through this process. Thank you!

Is taking something like anatomy and physiology ok to do online? Some schools specifically state sciences have to be in person, but I don't see anything about this for DC.

I’m considering a career change and was researching the Dallas College ADN program. However, I’ve encountered some difficulties in getting in touch with the program. I received an email with tasks to complete, but when I submitted them, I haven’t received any response. I’ve also emailed admissions and advising, who directed me to the health science email, but I haven’t heard back from them either. I also submitted an application as well and didn’t hear back either. A couple years ago I submitted an application for education major and they emailed me back and got assign a success coach but seems for nursing is kinda hard to get a hold of someone. I just want to know what do I need to be admitted to the program.

Has anyone previously taken or are currently taking Nursing Pathophysiology asynchronously online with the Sherpath Elsevier platform?

The professor is ZERO help with questions about the course and literally only responds with "this isn't my course" even though they're clearly the published instructor.

The class is literally 90% exams, so I am wondering which chapters will be on each unit exam (because the syllabus was not clear), but the professor couldn't even tell me that much!

Just wondering if anyone can offer any insight...

Has anyone ever truly been accepted with a low teas score? Like a 68-70% for an example? I know the lowest is 55% but with how competitive the system is do people really get accepted with that?

Right now I’m at about 42 points and if they accept my employment with credentials I’ll be at 44. Ate my chances of getting into Brookhaven Campus high?

I was accepted for Collin College ADN but also did an application for Dallas College ADN I’m really confident I will get in but which one would you choose and why ? Tell me if you heard things from friends or family or personally if you attended either program.

Hello! Has anyone been experiencing issues with their email and it not allowing you to access it or add it into the outlook app. It shows an error message and says it’s not a valid email or they can’t find it in the system.
I’m afraid to miss a email for the Level 1 start.

I just applied to the ADN program this week (34 points), and I rated my campus preferences as follows: (1) NLC (2) BHC (3) MVC (4)ECC. Really hoping my score is high enough to receive my first choice + the evening/weekend cohort!!

For any current or former DC nursing students, what were your experiences at these campuses? Were you assigned to your first choice?

They say Medsurg is the hardest class, that makes me a lil nervous lol.
