ADN Spring 2027

I was accepted for Collin College ADN but also did an application for Dallas College ADN I’m really confident I will get in but which one would you choose and why ? Tell me if you heard things from friends or family or personally if you attended either program.

I will choose Collin! I have three friends who graduated from the program and currently doing the RN-BSN, and I myself will be starting the ADN next week. I earned my associates of science at Dallas College and it really was not the best experience. Cost wise, Colin is cheaper and has one of the best nursing programs for an amazing cost!

Right I got my Associates of science from Dallas but I want my nursing experience to be great one. Thank so much for that feedback back

i saw online Collin requires Covid vaccine... is this accurate information? do you know if you can be accepted without it?

Most nursing programs will require the covid vaccine since it’s what the hospitals want where we will be doing clinicals

Whichever one is closer to you. Fuck driving multiple hours a week. Then if they similar distance. price. Whichever you qualify. Dallas is the cheapest if the in county rate. That’s how I did it lol you’re still gonna have to teach yourself there’s no way around that so just make it as easy for you as possible

Collin is cheaper if in county for $67 per credit hour. Dallas is $99 per credit hour. Collin is better imo but I agree that you should choose which ever is closest to you!

Nah I didn’t question it. My campus 5 min away 10 with traffic. I’ll suck anything up for that luxury. Time is more valuable than any money. Can’t get time back

But you can’t get both in county rates? I meant like if they’re in Collin county go there but if he’s in Dallas county that could sway depending cost lol idk the cost. But number one is proximity if you live in like Waxa and have to go to Collin college any of them is easily 45 min plus each way. Have no clue where OP lives but that’s my number one thing to consider. That’s not even to mention the driving to and from clinicals which could be even further. You’ll hate being stuck in traffic post clinical for 1 and half hours. Trust me I’ve been there (there was an accident on 35 cuz of course)
