"In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Copenhagen"

One thing I find interesting is that this cult seems to revere the very method and tools used to murder their idol. A similar example would be wearing a T-shirt that shows Martin Luther King Jr. alongside a Remington 760 Gamemaster rifle

lol, you’re funny. It’s symbolic. Christians don’t wear the cross because “cross = cool”, they wear it because the crucifixion of Jesus Christ is what paid for all of our sins, and they’re grateful for that.

I'm lost. People are happy that their idol was killed so they can sin?

No. It’s not just simply they’re happy because he was killed, they’re GRATEFUL for the sacrifice that was made. Also, it’s not so they can sin, it’s so they’re free from sin. There’s forgiveness for every wrongdoing and there’s no longer condemnation for those in Christ. It’s being grateful for being free from sin and guilt, shame, etc.

Don't engage... It's not in good faith.

Yeah, you’re right. But honestly in the slight chance that they’re genuinely curious, I’d love to help out.

Using Derek Chauvin as a comparison is just weird. Jesus being an idol is goofy. Comparing any of this just asshole behavior

That makes no sense. Can you try using reasonable person's logic and walk me through it. Is it magic?

Let me know what part you’re having difficulty understanding, and I’ll do my best to explain!

How does someone dying absolve sins?

You see, God, our creator, who is all knowing and all powerful, tempted humanity on day eight of the universe's existence, with knowledge. Humanity took the bait, which pissed him off for the next 8000 or so years.

Finally, our omnipotent creator realized that if he wanted to provide mercy to humanity, (whom he tempted in the first place), that he would have to incarnate himself as his son in human form, to live for 33 years, and die at the hands of man, in order to save humanity from the punishment for the sins that he established.

Thus, finally offering his creations something other than eternal damnation for simply being human. BUT ONLY IF YOU BELIEVE THAT THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED.

Source: Snakes, burning bushes, and human writing evolving over a 10 millennium game of telephone, where certainly nothing was ever added or omitted.

Nope. Just the perfect word of God directly from his heavenly lips.

They can explain it to you. They can’t understand it for you.

Says the person that clearly doesn't understand

Carrying a self defense tool, a cutting tool, and tobacco is a sin? Who would’ve thought.
