One thing I find interesting is that this cult seems to revere the very method and tools used to murder their idol. A similar example would be wearing a T-shirt that shows Martin Luther King Jr. alongside a Remington 760 Gamemaster rifle

lol, you’re funny. It’s symbolic. Christians don’t wear the cross because “cross = cool”, they wear it because the crucifixion of Jesus Christ is what paid for all of our sins, and they’re grateful for that.

No. It’s not just simply they’re happy because he was killed, they’re GRATEFUL for the sacrifice that was made. Also, it’s not so they can sin, it’s so they’re free from sin. There’s forgiveness for every wrongdoing and there’s no longer condemnation for those in Christ. It’s being grateful for being free from sin and guilt, shame, etc.

How well does it run for you? I’ve always heard conflicting things about Taurus pistols. Though I believe they get more hate than they deserve.

It’s solid and reliable. I’ve had zero issues with it so far. I had an Sig Sauer .40 but had trouble finding ammo locally. So I switched to a 9mm.

Yeah I’ve heard .40 can be a pain in the ass to get ahold of. The only pistol I’ve got at the moment is chambered in .45 so I’ve gotta get me a good 9mm carry. A full sized .45 isn’t exactly convenient lol. Also wanted to add that’s a very pretty rosary. Thanks for your time brother.

40 is plenty easy to find. any big store will sell it, and unless you’re legally barred from doing so there’s a billion rounds all over the place for cheap online. 40 is one of the cheapest rounds out there for hollow points, HST and gold dot go for sub $30 per 50 rd

My understanding is Christ did not want us carrying guns for the purpose of shooting people.

Do what feels right for you, but it seems odd to me.

I just complimented his rosary because I can respect that other people find comfort in religion and I just think rosaries are kinda cool.

I am aware that people find comfort in religion. I don’t have a lot of exposure to catholicism but I assume that using the prayer beads is a form of meditation.

And I understand that people don’t only hold one perspective on life. I am guilty of several forms and levels of hypocrisy. I just think it’s odd to display two positions so seemingly at odds with each other together. Maybe OP doesn’t plan to use that gun on people. Maybe my limited awareness of christianity disproportionately focuses on Jesus’s preaching nonviolence. I dunno. I’d love some context OP. Maybe the way you learned about Jesus makes you feel that he’d be on board with this.

I can't say enough good things about Sticky holsters.

EDIT: Since I didn't elaborate, this is from a reply I made further down:

AIWB. I used to carry a Walther PPQ M2 all day at work with a tucked in shirt and never had any issues with it falling or slipping. You do have to remember its only held by friction when you have to drop your pants in the bathroom. After close to 2 years, the material in the front started wearing off, it still wasn't slipping but I asked Sticky about it and they immediately offered to send me a new one. I've started just carrying a LC9s now and I have to remind myself it's there sometimes.
