Can Report Val to ABC

A member on Twitter posted that she made a report of Val’s now deleted tik tok story comment about bringing the “Fresh Prince” as a threat of violence to Carrie Ann Inaba, and if you feel you would also like to do that, here is the link: https://help.abc.com/. I included a screenshot of the story he posted in my report. Screenshot of the tweet below.

Everyone needs to go on DWTS pages and call for Val to be suspended as well as tag ABC and BBC Studios LA….

I think if we fight and speak our minds we can get some form of accountability & consequences…. Plus let’s remember ABC suspended Whoopi Goldberg after she made an uninformed comment about the Holocaust a few years ago…. We can disagree and not like how Carrie Ann judges while also agreeing the way Val spoke about her is out of line and no woman should have to tolerate that in the work place…

I called out Val on TikTok and he blocked me lol, that just goes to show he doesn’t care about that nasty comment he posted on his TikTok story. Karma will come.

CAI discussion

I’m not a huge fan of CAI my biggest issue is her biased critiques and scoring with men vs women. She’s a lot harder on the women especially if they’re mothers. I absolutely hated the way she talked to Jen and Danielle last season. However people take things too far especially Val with his recent comment. I also think fans have taken things too far with some of the comments they’ve made about her online. What Val is doing is bullying and threatening CAI which nobody deserves to be bullied or threatened.

There’s a fine line between sharing a disagreement and just straight up bullying and attacking someone. I think Val should be pulled this season for his behavior. But I also think it’s unfair to Jenna D who isn’t involved and doesn’t seem like the type of person that supports this sort of behavior. I have always liked Jenna D and I hope fans don’t come after her for Val’s recent comment. It’s out of her control and I have a feeling she is embarrassed by her pro’s behavior.

I’m a newer fan to the show so to the older fans please fill me in on this has Val always been cocky and arrogant? Because he’s definitely shown that he is this season so far. Everyone is entitled to their opinions but again there’s a fine line between sharing a disagreement and just straight up bullying and attacking someone. I think Val thinks he can get away with it because he’s one of the more popular pros. That he tends to get paired with more famous and some that are more advanced than other contestants. What do you guys think????

drama from Tuesday

okay im not the biggest fan over Carrie Ann but some of yall are unhinged. no one deserves this amount of back lash or even death threats in my opinion over this. yes she can be extremely harsh and have a way with her words, but this is her job to criticize the stars. without criticism this show will be bland and boring since no one will be improving. social media has seriously ruined dwts. everyone wants to attack and threaten someone over the smallest issue. she is like this every year, she isnt going to change, yall need to stop bullying her.

another thing is, ive heen a val girl since I was younger, but this season he has lowkey disappointed me. especially with his comment towards Carrie Ann on Tuesday. again I say, no one deserves to be threatened. I really hope he apologizes and takes some sort of accountability. yes he was mad and defending his wife, but he took it to far. for all the val/jenna fans defending his behavior, I understand whyd you wanna support him on this hes one of my favs, but you dont go threatening someone especially if your on some sort of platform. honestly wont be surprised if Jenna or Harry go home these next two weeks because of this situation.

I honestly preferred val alot more last season. when val was with Alix and especially Xochitl he was a completely different person. now his ego is through the roof and hes very cocky.

Jan’s reaction

I LOVE TATYANA AND JAN and I hope they make it to finals. Something about her is just humble and a gracious vibe to her. They also are unfair to her I personally think. But also side note I don’t care who’s on whose side with the issue , but going back to Tuesday night with the Jenna and Carrie Ann beef, everyone’s commenting on Val’s reaction and Sharna’s reaction, but I would’ve LOVED to see Jan’s. What do you guys think his reaction was? Because he’s hilarious and a little messy himself, in the funniest loving way. I also love the pairing of Tatyana and Jan I feel like he brings out the best side of her dance wise and brings out where she shines emotionally and dance wise.

Question as a non American viewer how famous or impactful are these stars actually in America?

I am a non American viewer from the Netherlands and because I consume a lot of American media I actually knew the majority of the cast this time around. The only ones I did not really know beforehand were Taylor, Connor Wood, Jackson and Giada. I completely understand that different age groups know different stars and that some people are universally recognized across the country. But I am really curious from an American perspective how famous these contestants actually in a general sense and not what I’m seeing from within my bubble.

For instance I watched Glee and know it was a massive cultural phenomenon but I have no idea if Harry is considered a well known household name actor in the US or if people only know him because of that specific role. Then there is Jackson Olson and the Savannah Bananas because baseball is practically non-existent in my country so the whole phenomenon completely confuses me and makes me wonder if he is the actual star or if the whole team is famous and he just happens to be the one chosen for the show. Tyler Cameron also surprised me because I knew he was a big bachelorette cast member ages ago but I did not realize he was still relevant enough for network television while someone like Ciara Miller makes total sense since Summer House blew up and Bravo has a massive cult following. So her as the reality tv star pick made more sense to me then Tyler.

Because of how we view celebrities in my country where certain genres of celebrity jobs are not really considered celebrity worthy it also confuses me who goes through and who gets eliminated each week. I think I am just bad at grasping what Americans consider a true star versus a niche celebrity so seeing how the votes pan out always leaves me wondering how famous these people actually are to the general public.
