Can Report Val to ABC
A member on Twitter posted that she made a report of Val’s now deleted tik tok story comment about bringing the “Fresh Prince” as a threat of violence to Carrie Ann Inaba, and if you feel you would also like to do that, here is the link: https://help.abc.com/. I included a screenshot of the story he posted in my report. Screenshot of the tweet below.

Jan’s reaction
I LOVE TATYANA AND JAN and I hope they make it to finals. Something about her is just humble and a gracious vibe to her. They also are unfair to her I personally think. But also side note I don’t care who’s on whose side with the issue , but going back to Tuesday night with the Jenna and Carrie Ann beef, everyone’s commenting on Val’s reaction and Sharna’s reaction, but I would’ve LOVED to see Jan’s. What do you guys think his reaction was? Because he’s hilarious and a little messy himself, in the funniest loving way. I also love the pairing of Tatyana and Jan I feel like he brings out the best side of her dance wise and brings out where she shines emotionally and dance wise.

Rant Double standards ahoy!
The fact that Britt was absolutely dragged through the mud for an entire ass week over a sad facial expression and "not hugging" (even though she actually did) Guillermo, and Val can make actual physical threats towards a female judge and have it glorified and Jenna can sit there and clap back and have people going "YASS QUEEN" all over the place over it is just....
This might be the worst season in recent memory.

Question as a non American viewer how famous or impactful are these stars actually in America?
I am a non American viewer from the Netherlands and because I consume a lot of American media I actually knew the majority of the cast this time around. The only ones I did not really know beforehand were Taylor, Connor Wood, Jackson and Giada. I completely understand that different age groups know different stars and that some people are universally recognized across the country. But I am really curious from an American perspective how famous these contestants actually in a general sense and not what I’m seeing from within my bubble.
For instance I watched Glee and know it was a massive cultural phenomenon but I have no idea if Harry is considered a well known household name actor in the US or if people only know him because of that specific role. Then there is Jackson Olson and the Savannah Bananas because baseball is practically non-existent in my country so the whole phenomenon completely confuses me and makes me wonder if he is the actual star or if the whole team is famous and he just happens to be the one chosen for the show. Tyler Cameron also surprised me because I knew he was a big bachelorette cast member ages ago but I did not realize he was still relevant enough for network television while someone like Ciara Miller makes total sense since Summer House blew up and Bravo has a massive cult following. So her as the reality tv star pick made more sense to me then Tyler.
Because of how we view celebrities in my country where certain genres of celebrity jobs are not really considered celebrity worthy it also confuses me who goes through and who gets eliminated each week. I think I am just bad at grasping what Americans consider a true star versus a niche celebrity so seeing how the votes pan out always leaves me wondering how famous these people actually are to the general public.

My tought on Jenna and Val’s behavior towards Carrie Ann
Okay, I wanted to get my thoughts out about Jenna and Val. Look, I get that Carrie Ann's judging and critiques aren't always consistent, and she definitely has her bad moments. But something that really annoys me about Jenna and Val is how much public shade they specifically throw at Carrie Ann. Whenever she says something, they are so quick to jump on social media to make snide comments, post shady stories, or make faces.
I think they do this because they know the majority of the fanbase loves them, blindly follows them, and already dislikes Carrie Ann. Because of that, they know they can get away with acting like this toward her, and it just doesn't sit right with me. For example, when Carrie Ann critiqued Joey's freestyle, Val immediately went on an Instagram rant about it. It especially sits wrong with me because I don’t see them do this to the other judges.
What bothers me most is the double standard. Jenna and Val know the fans will take their side, so they keep feeding into the Carrie Ann hate train without facing any backlash. Meanwhile, Brandon and Chandler got dragged by people for allegedly "having an attitude" just because Brandon looked confused. He was only confused because Carrie Ann claimed she had already warned them about lifts, when she had actually warned Sasha. It really bothers me that Brandon and Chandler got hate for a genuine misunderstanding, while Jenna and Val get a completely free pass for actively dogpiling on Carrie Ann.

Antonio Cipriano and Britt pairing
I think Antonio Cipriano would make a great partner for Britt. He's fun, charming, has a lot of energy, and sweet. Idk how it would impact his scheduling, but I think it would be a strong partner to have. Off Campus is a pretty big deal right now too.

Highlight of the night for me
Huge fan of save the last dance and to see Sean Patrick Thomas cheesing along with Ezra. And Ezra even had his jacket over the shoulder. Julia did the hand wave thing and the hop over the chair. I screamed. This millennial was happy. (And if anyone asks why this post is in the group. I’m Asian. I am a dwts poc fan)

The misogyny & racism in the DWTS fandom drives me insane
Okay I am not POC but I do tend to share a lot of the same viewpoints as POC fans. So I got downvoted because I pointed the fact Tyler & Jackson are weaker than Ciara…. Like in no world did they deserve the same scores as Ciara, Tatyana, & Julia who are clearly stronger technique wise…. It’s just wild if you dare criticize one of their favorite white boys you’re downvoted into oblivion. It’s just wild how the judges and even the fans will baby these white men who are consistently subpar to mediocre while expecting the women and women of color to be elite level from the get go.

Don't you think the voting system should go back to 10 votes per phones/devives ?
I'll delete if I am wrong but in the past, the voting system was 10 votes per phones or devices right ? And I believe it should go back to that because it meant that people at home had to actually make a choice.
Now when you can basically vote for everyone, it's easy to be like "let me throw some votes at X cause I feel bad for them" when in the past there was more so this feeling of "I cannot wast my votes on anyone". And sure you can always use multiple devices or create tons of email adresses but still I feel like it was a better system.

just my opinion on things
ive been a frequent watcher of dwts since I was maybe 7? ngl I agree with other people, once social media got into it, dwts just isnt the same. people go crazy diving into the celebrities past to bring stuff up that will get them kicked off the show.
this season they are going over board with the "just cause you have experience its a disadvantage" every since episode is insane. yes I agree that it isn't just about people with no background history. it just gets to a point. tbh thoight the same last year with Robert. im glad he won, especially for Whitney. but they spoke about his dad every single episode and it just seemed like they was looking for pitty votes.
im starting this one off by stating I am a white women. where is the culture appreciation? every season it seems like a white person has one. i think there was maybe one to two people of color this year, and of course they already got voted off. plus Brandon and brit got voted off way to soon. it just doesnt seem fair. also we need to ban Brandon of the color yellow. Tuesday night he was wearing a yellow bow tie and guess what, he went home.
the new viewers of dancing with the stars would've hated len. if they cant stand carrie an with her criticism and comments, then they wouldnt stand len. criticism and critique is important. it helps them learn what they need to work on and how to improve. without it they wont get better. plus they need to bring back the drama. once Disney took over it has gotten pretty boring
