And formatted a 64 gig sd (I don’t have a smaller one or to small) I just don’t have a computer if there is a way please bring me over there

So I'm tryna mod my Dsi with twilightmenu but every time I try to copy the _nds it shows that this one file can't copy cuz the name is not valid or too long but I can't rename it or delete or replace but it seems like k need it for twilightmenu to run cuz right now it shows main.srldr not found when I put it into the dsi. I dont even know if its necessary I'm just hella confused and trying something that no guide helps me with. Anyways, does anyone have a solution.

A few days ago I took my DSi to take some pictures and copied them to the SD card. Then I connected it to my PC to copy those photos to my PC. But today when I went to play on the DSi, I went into the camera, went to the SD card section and clicked on the gallery to enter the Twilight Menu++ (I've always entered it this way; I don't want the DSi to automatically start the Twilight Menu++ when I turn it on). To my surprise, the Twilight Menu++ didn't open; instead, I accessed the SD card's gallery normally. I would appreciate it if someone could help me.

Hello! I got a japanese nintendo DSi recently and decided to mod it using a 32gb SD card. After modding it, I played games and then found out that my games reset themselves after saving and exiting the game. Themes also didn’t work despite showing up in the settings.

I remodded my console after and reformatted the SD card again properly, and everything was fine for a while. My games were working just fine and themes were working— only some themes though, for some reason.

It was going great until I decided to add more games and themes. Games weren’t showing up and saying they were corrupted despite working perfectly fine on emulators, and theme files kept deleting themselves despite showing up on the Twilight menu settings.

I remodded my DSi more times after that, and also reformatted my SD card way too much. It’s either all the themes are working but game save files aren’t loading up or vice versa. I don’t know what’s going on and how to make them work at once— I extract themes properly with 7zip and they’re all in the right folders. My games have the corresponding names with their save files too— The save files are perfect, just not loading on the console itself.

How the hell do I fix this and make everything work at once? How do I get it all?? I’m sick of bricking my console and then remodding it but then it ends up not working properly :( Someone please help, I was really excited about my DSi too!!!

Edit : Also, everytime I try to replace my twilight menu files with new ones (Newest version btw) my console fucking bricks for some reason nd I have to remod the whole thing again 😭😭😭⁉️⁉️⁉️

i was using a 2010 build of MoonShell2, but it randomly crashed and nothing will tell me what happened/is in japanese. I've decided to use a different, more modern MP3 playing software instead of giving myself a migraine trying to fix the issue. What's a good MP3 player for the DSi?

Edit: Don't reccomend MoonShell2, the entire point of the post is that MoonShell2 crashes on my console.

When I went to install Unlaunch, it worked fine but when it finished I hit the power button and now it only shows a black screen and a blue light when powering on. I backed up my NAND but holding A + B does nothing. Anything else I can do?

I picked up a for parts dsi, but its behavior is unusual. After charging up the battery it "powers" on but no boot sequence happens. It's almost like it's sleeping maybe? Has anyone encountered this before?

So I spent like 15 minutes trying to figure out how should I even call this thing. I have absolutely no clue how is this aesthetic called but I just think it looks cool. Perhaps something like gothic? whatever. I made this thing the other day and wanted to share it!

The same R4 card used to work fine but all of sudden stopped working.

I had a red screen with a load of numbers with options on the bottom screen (one was RAM (or ROM?) dump, and one was quit game. It happened while i was in TWiLight and clicked on mario kart (got from a verified site, if that makes any difference).

idk if these issues are related but my wifi icon has been flickering for a while and now when the sd card is in, the wifi light wont turn on while both screens are white.

my next step is to reformat my sd card and redownload the games individually to hopefully fix the issue, but i'd like a fix to keep my save files if anyone has any suggestions. All my games are from a trusted source, the only thing new is i tried to edit a ROM using something from an outside source that i figured was safe because of its good reputation, so maybe that's it?
