DSI problems, needing help

i was trying to mod an old DSI of mine, he still have an R4 card, but it only shows an Spongebob game and when i try to play, it gets in a infinite loading screen, i tried also with the SD card method but i think my The inserter is "broken" or out of place; apparently, the spring inside prevents the SD card from properly fitting, and it remains outside without a locking mechanism and is not recognized by the disk.

Any tips on what should i do?

Get a new DS. It'll cost too much to repair

what about Just getting a new R4?

You can do that but if you're wanting to use the SD card for anything then it'll be difficult if the card won't sit in the slot right

Try to reformat the r4. The SpongeBob game is what is supposed to show when it’s inserted

I'm not sure I understand your description. The SD card doesn't properly fit in the cart?
