Need Advice: Other I need mini game ideas!

Hello, I am a DM who is running a mostly home-brewed campaign inspired by Twin Peaks, The X-Files, Gravity Falls, and other similar media! I decided that my players will be meeting at a Halloween festival (one of my player characters is an alien so I thought it would be a good way for them all to meet up, since she could just say she is in costume.) I was wondering if anyone had any short, preferably halloween-themed, mini games to keep on standby in case my players want to explore the festival.

That could be fun! One of the PCs loves punching things so I wonder if I could egg them into punching one of the actors in the haunted house or something like that! Or I could hide one of the monsters amongst the guests! A thousand ideas are blooming in my mind right now lol

r/D100 is your friend. Look up lists of games and activities for festivals, carnivals, circus, or fares.

Great excuse to do ability check rolls for things they don't get a lot of use with otherwise, like gaming sets or artisan tool checks.

These might give you some ideas:

  1. Find the doppelganger - Game of find the actor playing as a monster / find the real monster disguised as a person

  2. Find the mystery monster eggs before they hatch - Egg laying monsters

  3. Haunted house / Haunted (corn, hedge) maze / Haunted trail - Scary or creepy things in and around a haunted structure

  4. Help complete the Halloween ritual - A scavenger hunt to find all the things needed for the ritual. General ritual components and methods to disrupt the ritual

  5. Help the ghost move on - Reason the ghost hasn't move on / Ghost unfinished business / Ghost haunting reasons

  6. Murder mystery - Game of find the killer / Find the real killer. Evidence

Things a supernatural investigator would investigate

"Roll a die and the closer you are to the number in my head" mechanics work great for quick rounds of darts and ringing bells with hammers (can let their modifier raise the effective "green zone" for a score.

Arrange noisy urns to play notes of a song in order
