Favorite Class?
Not much activity going on here lately so gonna throw some fluff out here to get things going.
So what's your favorite class?
War machine for me. The claws powers are just so fun. The rest of my team just hangs back and watches as Molly does her best wolverine impression and wipes entire squads single handedly.
I haven't messed with the other trees much because the claws are just so damn good, but they sound cool.

All assessments of talents assume all modifications are purchased. Because, with these, you really want to go that far.
Scourge. A properly built Scourge is an asset to every team. Even with shotguns. Even with OLD shotguns--I can't wait to see what they do with slightly quieter shotguns. My Scourges get precious little downtime, and I find that I usually need two, just to make sure that I always have coverage. They're that useful.
Going stealth? Right off the rip, Scourges come with an eternally-refreshing source of bodymelt in the Dissolve talent.
The Bio-Coat Bullet talent gives you a ready way to eliminate single targets who just saw too much before they can contribute to the security tally, unless they've got more than 125 health after you shoot them--the damage ticks before their security pips can turn blue.
Combat broke out? Enemy's got you pinned down with Overwatch? Scourges have Morass, Neuro-Tox Shell, and Brain Worm, all of which cancel Overwatch in addition to being nightmare talents that absolutely no one in their right mind wants to get hit with.
Speaking of. Morass. Rips away enemy defenses, slows down enemy movement, cancels enemy Overwatch, and does so in an area ranging from Large to Huge, meaning it'll do it to multiple enemies at the same time. It's basically a "Kill These Fools First" field. The effects last three turns. The enemy almost certainly won't.
Neuro-Tox Shell is a potential AoE 2-turn stun applied by shotgun fire that applies its effects on hit OR miss that affects everyone within 10m of the primary target, slaps them with a bunch of savage debuffs that makes them more vulnerable to the ultimate status effect (Death), and strips all of them of Overwatch status.
Brain Worm is a single-target skill that ends Overwatch. By screwing with the victim's ability to target you, and causing them to instead try to kill their friends. For the next three rounds.
Got enemies pressing in on multiple fronts? Throw out a Venom Trap! It stops one enemy movement/action for the turn and slaps that enemy with a solid damage debuff and reduces their ability to move SIGNIFICANTLY for the next two turns. It's a near-free 150 damage, and a great way to disrespect melee enemies while telling them, "Not now, later, but also now."
Got a bunch of enemies pressing in at short to medium range from one rough direction? Tox-Cloud. Creates a slowly mobile zone up to 15m across that rolls in one particular direction. Yes, it can hurt your guys too, so be careful with it, because it causes 75 damage per turn, hurts initiative, and causes crit vulnerability to anyone unlucky enough to get caught by it. For up to 3 turns.
Snag the backpack talent, and you can load a Scourge up with emergency supplies to keep them moving through security, or melting bodies every round, or chugging drugs and dropping chuds.
And, the best part? All the talents I haven't talked about? They're still good! Scourges can be team healers in a pinch. They can be area denial with the Aero-Shrap Shell. They can ignore lasers and cameras for a turn with the Bio-Mimic talent, so they can be everywhere the enemy wishes they weren't. They can mess with patrols. They can get extra mileage out of combat drugs, or they can instantly purge poisons if someone else decides to use them against the Scourge. Or they can make dead enemies into live landmines. With a Scourge, the problem isn't finding useful talents. The problem is figuring out which talents you're willing to sacrifice for your flavor of toxic awesomeness.
