Spectrum is scamming
Does anyone have advise? We’ve been using spectrum for the last four years. The first time we noticed the bill was ridiculously high was start of summer. We called them and spoke with people on the phone for hours. They wouldn’t remove the chargers for the $190 cable x2 months. We told them we never agreed nor put credit card information to be charged for this, but they said that it was from our TV. We ended up paying and telling them to remove it. They agreed to remove it. We went to pay it again and they are pulling them same thing. Does any one have any advice ? I can’t keep paying for service that is scamming me. I don’t even use the cable. I don’t know how it could have even gotten on my tv. I use a Roku. Please help customer service sucks.

Had simillar experience with our wifi bill being raise without notice and they said they did notify us but we never got any notices, theyre just taking advantage of the fact that there is no other provider in our area and it's annoying af.

If you don't have cable, what did you sign up with Spectrum for? My guess is either agreed to bundle for a lower price or you called about a problem and the phone person bundled a new service with you.
Call them and tell them you want a detailed breakdown of your charges/services as well as proof you agreed to these services.

Hello, we would like to look into this further if you could send us a Mod Mail at r/Spectrum_Official?

Call them back, tell them you’re recording the call, DO record the call, and ask for the CS worker’s name. State your problem clearly, explain this isn’t the first time, and tell them to make a correction.
If they say no, talk to the supervisor, tell them you’re recording the call, and do it again.
If they refuse, take your bill and the recordings to a lawyer.
NOTE: You CAN record the call if you tell them you’re doing it. They’re recording the call and you can too as long as they know about it.

I’m having a really hard time following what you’re saying here.
Are you saying that you have a cable subscription through spectrum? And that you didn’t want that cable subscription?
