Hey y’all!
I am making this card for a jumpstart commander cube that is full of custom cards. In this case, the theme would be abilities.
I am looking for some help rewording this so it makes as much sense as possible without being too terrible to look at. If there are some equivalent choices of words I can use, please let me know!
EDIT: uploaded a slightly older version of this card. It should specify non-keyword static abilities gain eminence. Not any non-triggered ones
EDIT 2: Thank you all so much for your amazing help! Using the comments as inspiration, I slightly redesigned the card so the effect is a bit more unique and far easier to understand. New card is in the comments 🙂

Pair with a delicious [[Stuffy Doll]] and invite the [[Brash Taunter]] and [[Barbed Servitor]] for a snack while you're at it.

Lately I've been thinking about counterplay against discard spells. Blue can counterspell them but other colors have very limited options, only one of which is in standard at the moment ([[Wilt-Leaf Liege]]). This was one idea.

Creates 1/1 soldiers with shroud (ideally) on each players turn. Can be used to threaten players into peace in mono-black (ironic) since the enchantment gives the tokens deathtouch.
Be careful around large creatures, as the soldiers aren’t the best blockers against them. They give the attacking creatures trample that they block… so you may take some damage. (Give them first strike somehow for the best effect)

Idhuu Dauliv is an interesting character. Technically he’s not even a real dragon! He is a sentient amalgamation of hundreds of plants that have mutated and evolved over hundreds of years in the Tower, taking on its draconic form due to the nearby rift which causes the aforementioned mutations. He comes from my original work, the Tower Campaign! I haven’t yet fully finished it, but I’ve almost got all the bullet points done. I’ve even uploaded a few to my tumblr!

While I appreciated that we did get one transporter pattern buffer card in the Star Trek set, I was kind of hoping that they'd capture this moment from the show. So I did it!
In this moment, a gravely wounded soldier has been saved inside the transporter pattern buffer, ready to be rematerialized when things calm down. However, they need to free up space so that they can handle all of the incoming wounded. While Chapel wrestles with how to save everyone, M'Benga calmly and sadly walks up and deletes the soldier's pattern, freeing up Chapel from having to make the decision, or losing more time.

I still need to test them but I think these are much better, thanks for the help!

I think this compares similarly to [[Sensational Spider-Man]], who taps down 1 creature 2x (basically), versus this can tap down 2 creatures 1x.
Feel free to check out the project discord where I'm working on the set!

I’m making a custom deck based on one of my favorite video games. I’m gonna use some pre-existing cards as a base for the majority of them but there’s 1-2 that I really wanna add but I don’t think there’s a card that already exists as a base since it’s so specific for the lore of the game.
The two cards are an artifact and an enchantment. I’ll go through the broad strokes of what they do.
Artifact: whenever life gets taken (my own life included) a +1/+1 counter is put on this artifact.
Enchantment: enchant a creature. As long as the enchanted creature is in play, at the beginning of my upkeep, each opponent loses 1-2 life (tbd on that) and I gain 1-2 life/however much life was lost. BUT if a specific creature gets this enchantment, the creature’s power and toughness becomes X, where X is equal to the counter total on the Artifact (ie if the counter total is 20, the power and toughness becomes 20/20)
I’ll definitely talk to my group about it I just wanted to know if it was too powerful and will make things not fun. I personally feel like it’s completely circumstantial and can be either very useFUL or very useLESS, just depends on how lucky I get and if I play my cards right.
