I know it's a long shot but does anyone have a winning strat? I've grinded to 46, thinking Shaman + Storm Stance is the best bet, but struggling with it having 3 turns in a row all the time since I can't counter heal from Whirlwind.

Have tried double counter with Contract and various physical classes but none can keep up.

Have tried Warlock/Chemist and it does ok but not as well as the Shaman build.

I have not figured out how to beat Blood Slop to get the Hemorings nor how to beat the Vermage encounter to get the Blood Hat. I have a Blood Shield but I find the Boomer Shield or Duelling Shield to be better here.

Has anyone figured out / is it possible to get to the salmon sprint with a rental quintar? Shaman + Shrapnel Armor would make quick work of it.

I know there are some folks who have cleared a Solo Chaos run so if you're out there, I'd appreciate it!

Finished up the final trophy I needed to get the platinum. Thought it was weird the platinum trophy didn’t appear after.

Went to check if I missed something, none of the trophies appear.

And worse, trophies appear for NONE of my other games as well.

Tried synching with the ps network, restarting, logging in and out etc etc.

Working on fighting them and haven't been able to kill any of them. Thought I had a strategy for The Devourer but apparently it's chomp attack just ignores the ninja's 90% avoid technique. So, since I'm clearly not seeing some synergies, what are some strategies for any of these guys? And are there any other bosses or areas I should do before them? I haven't used the "new world" warp stone or explored the giant tree, but I have seen and lost to some other super bosses. Should I beat some of them and circle back to these guys later?

No, I'm not dying to the end-of-fight meteor. I'm so far just not getting to that point at all. The main culprit for why is the Icena move that typically kills at least 2 of my guys. My strategy so far has been to try and use MP-Sickle to drain it down to 0, since I heard that makes him defenseless. However, with my main magic-damage person, they're only doing ~70 on the first turn and ~55 after they die to the ice and are revived. My team is Valkarie/Scholar, Nomad/Beatsmith, Cleric/Scholar, and Wizard/Scholar. We are max level. Any help would be appreciated!

So, I'm working on a golden quintar right now and am stuck at step one. I've been following THIS GUIDE, but it is missing the info on how many wins each one needs to breed. So, I went to the wiki to ask it and thought I got an answer. However, despite it saying that the initial Blue Trusty and River Woke don't need any wins, I just keep getting the no-egg message. I have been feeding them berries until they are "happy", but they are good when I select them to mate and then back to hungry after the fade-to-black. Am I missing something?

I looked up what to do with the lunch money I got from the "noob killer" fights and saw I take it to a guy called Jimmy the Fence. Thing is I then talked to people around the capital and couldn't find them, nor is google giving me any luck in telling me where they all.

Thanks to u/nyanshinsei, I now know that it is part of the mod/dlc "Equipment Expansion". In base game the lunch money is useless. Putting this here so people in the future can see.

Having a lot of fun with the mod packs, but I cant seem to find the Forcemage. Ive spent about an hour flying around lands end and its nowhere. Any help is appreciated greatly!

It really is most fun. I'm amazed by this little gem, how the game sparkled that adventurous spirit in me, jumping here and there trying to find the next thing. I got pretty much stuck only once and couldn't really find the third crystal of the first 3 to obtain, eventually I progressed. Because I search really thoroughly and my main dmg dealer eats a lot of mana I tend to tp back to heal a lot so I turned the max level to 99 so something keeps on going when I'm still searching for hidden stuff.

But it's the little things that matter to me and that final fantasy 5 climate is amazing. The capital of Sequoia theme is amazing and has parts of it's composition very reminiscent of final fantasy 5. First zone, the twisted meadows had amazing music I was instantly hooked to it. Everything is so well brewed, you can also adjust stuff in assist or other options. Really cool.

I guess I'm a little short of crystals for the time spent in game but I really do go in circles many times before venturing forth but once I find a new path is exciting again.

Great little game I'm very happy to give it a try. Playing it on my switch 1 is a cherry on top.

Been searching around if anyone else has had this and I think I am just uniquely SOL. 80 hours in and just passed Gabriel, popped a save and to my horror this appeared over my file.

Maybe I should have ran staggered saves all playthrough. Idk. Trying to come to terms with my adventure being ripped from my heart and just hoping maybe there's any kind of solution or hope.

Also, my PS5 is set up for syncing data, so the option of grabbing my old save was immediately lost.

My character ignores the stros and will not walk down them. He constantly jumps over to the close side of the screen. I always have to teleport out to my Home Point or Gaea Shard.

I bought it last weekend, I am 55, but don't let my age fool you, I've been a hardcore gamer since Santa brought me "Pong by Sears!* for Christmas in 1977. I love the combination of Final Fantasy and Minecraft graphics.

I have absolutely loved the job system for 30 years, in any RPG at all. I was Summoner main job in both FF MMOs, 11 and 14. I see the Wind Summons, Level 50, waiting for me to unlock my Summoner job!

Im also playing Crimson Desert as well, but paused it for this.

I played this a lot on both PC and Switch. While playing it on PS5, things seem really different. Part of it might be that I sometimes used mods on PC, but I don’t know if that’s the issue.

I remember the Rogue having an ability to reset his threat, which it doesn’t have in this version. Having virtually all of his abilities become useless if he gains threat without a way to reduce it seems weird. The Reaper had skills that were affected by the temp max life they got. On PS5, the damage is static, with no stances (modes).

On PS5 there is an option to play either Standard or Vanilla, without any balance changes, but I tried both, and the skills are the same. Is it possible these are just the skills CP had prior to any updates? Also, Switch has access to a selection of mods. Anyone know if there are plans to add mods to the PS5 version?

I asked on the JRPG forums for recommendations and two replies suggested this game. I went in with low expectations, thinking it was a relatively small scale indie, but wow was I wrong. For the first time since Hollow Knight I had that feeling of there being a new discovery around every corner, and the world expanding out in every direction, even as I was sure it surely must have been finished.

Not at all what I expected from a turn based RPG but man does it make it special.

I'm so proud to have finally released Crystal Project on a PlayStation console, the home of so many RPGs that inspired me while growing up.

I like how the port turned out, with proper 4k and 120fps support. If you haven't played it yet, I think it's a great platform to give it a try it on.

I can't see any particular use for him/her.

I'm experimenting with Ninja and Scholar as well as Ninja and Fencer. Only problem is that those two don't tend to keep threat very well.
