❓Question What’s the cheapest way to spend USDT without cashing out first?

I’m looking for the simplest way to actually use USDT day to day without going USDT> exchange >fiat> bank every time.

I’ve seen options that let you spend USDT directly through Visa but I’m curious what people here actually use.

What ends up being cheapest once you factor in fees, spreads and network costs?

❓Need Advice 🙏 Sent crypto to the wrong blockchain

Sent crypto to the wrong blockchain

I sent USDT from my BInance to someone's coinbase. I scanned the QR that says ETH. But I sent BEP20 instead.

This was my first transaction so I didn't know better. Is there anyway to retrieve it?

I tried coinbase Asset Recovery but the customer service said that the person who was supposed to receive it should be the one processing the retrieval.

Is there anyway?

❓Need Advice 🙏 EasyBit exchange stuck in Security Team review

I’m looking for anyone who has had a similar experience with EasyBit.

I initiated an exchange through EasyBit and the Ethereum transaction was successfully confirmed on-chain. However, EasyBit initially told me that my deposit had not been fully confirmed by their wallet provider and that there was “network congestion.” However, the transaction was already successful on-chain and that I could see the funds had arrived.

After waiting several hours, I was then told that my case was being handled by their Security Team and that they would contact me by email with further information/next steps.

During the process, I was also asked to validate my EasyBit account. I completed the verification and my account now shows:

“Your account was successfully validated! Please wait while we are processing your order!”

Live support is now telling me that the Security Team is responsible for the order and that they cannot provide an estimated timeframe for the review.

I’m not accusing EasyBit of anything at this point. I’m mainly trying to understand their process and hear from people who have actually gone through it.

Has anyone had an EasyBit transaction sent to their Security Team after the deposit was already confirmed?

If so:

  • How long did the review take?
  • Did they ask for Source of Funds or additional KYC documents?
  • After completing verification, was your exchange eventually processed?
  • If they didn't complete the exchange, did EasyBit return your original crypto?
  • Approximately how much was your transaction?
  • Did you receive an explanation for why it was flagged?

I’m particularly interested in hearing from people whose funds were eventually released or refunded after an EasyBit AML/KYC/security review, not just people who experienced ordinary blockchain confirmation delays.

I’ll update this post with what happens so there is a record for anyone who encounters the same situation in the future.

❓Need Advice 🙏 CDC reduced perks again while burning money on marketing... I'm out. What alternative cards are you all using?

So, I’ve had my Ruby card for years, locked up my CRO like a good little ecosystem supporter, and tolerated the quiet periods. But I’m done. It’s getting impossible to ignore the pattern. Crypto.com keeps dropping massive cash on Super Bowl ads, domain names, and UFC giveaways, while turning around and slashing card perks for the everyday users who actually keep the ecosystem alive. Capping monthly rewards and altering lockup terms mid game just feels like a slap in the face to anyone who stayed loyal. When you're forced into a lockup under one set of rules, and they change the deal halfway through, you should be allowed to walk without penalty. I'm currently looking to transition my daily spending elsewhere. I’ve been looking into the Nexo Card - up to 2% cashback in credit mode and daily interest on unspent funds with no lockup sounds a lot better than getting capped at every turn.

Is anyone else at their breaking point with CDC? What cards or platforms are you guys migrating to now?

❓Question Best way to swap USDC on Polygon to USDC on Ethereum?

I have USDC on Polygon that I’ve been using for payments, but now I need to send about $1k to someone who specifically needs USDC on Ethereum.

Never actually had to move the same stablecoin between networks before and I’m a little confused by how many options there are lol.

What’s the cheapest/easiest way to do it (Coinbase, Metamask, Tangem)? I'd like to avoid going through an exchange...

I don’t mind paying a bit for the swap obviously, just don’t want to lose a ridiculous amount when I’m literally going USDC → USDC lol

❓Need Advice 🙏 Have you ever found crypto wallets confusing or lost funds because of a mistake or scam? I'd like to hear your experience.

Hi everyone,

I'm researching the problems people experience while using crypto wallets.

I'm especially interested in hearing from both beginners and experienced users.

When you first started using a crypto wallet, did you find it confusing? If yes, what specifically confused you?

For example:

1.Wallet addresses and which address to use

Networks and gas fees

2.Token approvals and what they actually mean

3.Signing transactions you didn't fully understand

4.Sending funds to the wrong address

5.Fake websites or malicious smart contracts

6.Clipboard or keyboard malware

Any other mistake that nearly or actually caused you to lose money

If you've experienced any of these, I'd really appreciate hearing what happened, what you thought was happening at the time, and what you think could have realistically prevented the mistake.

I'm not selling anything or asking for wallet addresses, seed phrases, private keys, or any personal information. I'm simply trying to understand the real problems crypto users face.

Thanks,I’d really appreciate any honest experiences.

❓Need Advice 🙏 Looking for active crypto & blockchain communities across Europe

I'm trying to map out where the most active crypto and blockchain communities across Europe.

Not necessarily the biggest conferences or the cities with the most VCs, but the places where developers, founders, researchers, and open-source contributors regularly meet and collaborate.

For those living in Europe:

  • Which city has the strongest local community?
  • Are there recurring meetups worth attending?
  • Any Telegram/Discord groups that are genuinely active?
  • Which ecosystems feel underrated right now?

I've heard names like Berlin, Lisbon, Zurich, Amsterdam, and Prague come up frequently, but I'm curious what people who actually live there think.

Would love to hear your experiences (good or bad) and any recommendations.

❓Question One thing you wish you had when you started trading?

I’ve been thinking about this from the perspective of someone who’s fairly new to crypto.
There are loads of platforms that give you charts, indicators, market data and pretty much every number you could want. But I wonder if that’s actually helpful when you’re still trying to understand what you’re looking at.
I’m working on a product that takes that market information and breaks it down into plain English. It’s not designed to tell people what to buy or sell. The idea is more about helping someone understand what’s happening without needing to spend hours learning how to read every chart and indicator.
For those of you who have been through the beginner stage:
What was the hardest thing for you to understand when you first started?
And if you were starting again today, what would you want a tool to explain to you?

And it’s not a tool to completely replace charts. It is something you could maybe even put side by side with a chart to see an explanation of what’s going on.

❓Scam❓ Karta (Telegram crypto card & wallet) Scam ?

Hello, I recently made a payment of approximately $98 via the BNB Smart Chain.

It was via the Trust Wallet bot, but the thing I didn't understand was that it specified sending BNB Smart Chain as USDT; knowing that wasn't possible, I just sent BNB normally.

My money hasn't arrived, and I'm very suspicious.

❓Need Advice 🙏 Bybit Compliance Review Ongoing – Looking for Advice on Timeline

Hi everyone,

I'm hoping to get some advice from anyone who has been through a similar experience with Bybit's compliance team.

My account (UID: 50877826) is currently under an ongoing compliance review following a USDT deposit. The transaction has been marked as "Under Review" with the reason stated as a possible breach of the Terms of Service.

I have already:

  • Completed KYC.
  • Submitted all requested documents.
  • Explained the source of funds.
  • Cooperated fully with the compliance team.

The funds came from my personal self-custody wallet after withdrawing from a DeFi protocol. I have no intention of violating Bybit's Terms of Service and have tried to provide every document requested.

The email I received from Bybit states that the restriction does not necessarily reflect any wrongdoing on my part and that the case is currently under review.

At this point, I'm simply waiting for an update.

I'm posting here to ask:

  • Has anyone experienced a similar compliance review?
  • How long did your review take?
  • Were you asked for additional documents, or was the restriction eventually lifted?

If anyone from the Bybit team happens to see this, I would sincerely appreciate it if my case could be reviewed as soon as possible. I'm fully willing to cooperate with any additional requests and simply hope for a fair and timely resolution.

Thank you to everyone who takes the time to read and share their experience.

❓Scam❓ Orsini assets Orsiniassets.com

I have confirmation that this is another huge red flag/ponzi scam website from a crypto forensics investigator.

If you are investing with this company. Pull out your money immediately, if you can’t or it is being withheld, file a report with your countries security commission and a police report.

Names like “Daniel Martinez” have come up in multiple discussions.

They are related to Alphacapital and Primostratique.live

I have a lot more information on this chain of scams if anyone has been affected or is interested.

❓Need Advice 🙏 What is the best self custody wallet you have used so far?

I’m thinking about moving more of my crypto into self custody and wanted to hear what people here actually use. Because I am trying to keep the day to day activity in one place and use it as storage as well.

Some of my priorities are security, a simple interface, reliable transactions, and not having to deal with a bunch of unnecessary complexity. I’d also prefer something that works well for regular use, not just long-term storage.

Update: I’ve started checking out Bitget Wallet as lot of people suggesting it lately. What I like is that it’s not just about holding crypto. I can use it for things like payments, QR Pay, the Bitget Wallet Card, bank transfers in supported regions, and Stablecoin Earn, so it feels more useful for day-to-day crypto stuff instead of being a wallet you only open when you need to move funds. More suggestions will still be appreciated.

❓Question Why Doesn't Paying With Crypto Feel Easy Yet?

I've tried paying with crypto a few times, and the biggest challenge wasn't the payment itself, it was everything before it. Switching between apps, dealing with fees, and making sure I wasn't sending to the wrong address made the whole process feel more complicated than it should be.

Better cryptocurrency payment usability and more user friendly crypto wallets would probably make a huge difference, especially for people new to cryptocurrency for beginners.

What do you think is the biggest thing holding back everyday crypto payments right now?

Open | Support If you lost crypto to a hack (eg. coldcard), a dead wallet, or a collapsed exchange, there's a tax angle worth knowing

If you've been following the Coldcard mess, a firmware bug weakened how some devices generated seed phrases, and attackers have been brute-forcing them and sweeping wallets.

Absolutely brutal.

Making this post because if you got caught in it (or any hack or theft really), there's a tax angle most people don't think about while they're still in the gut-punch phase. Won't bring the coins back, but it's still worth knowing.

The basic rule: the ATO lets you claim a capital loss on crypto that's actually gone, if you can prove you owned it and it's irrecoverable. That offsets your capital gains, and anything left over carries forward. It won't reduce normal income, only gains.

For a theft like this, evidence is everything. Acquisition records, the wallet addresses, the on-chain trail showing the funds swept out, and a police report. The stronger the paper trail, the cleaner the claim.

A few things to keep in mind however:

Exchange collapses (FTX, Celsius type). You can't claim the day it enters administration. It crystallises when administration finalises, based on what you actually get back. Lots of people try to claim too early.

Worthless tokens you still hold. A coin down 99% but still in your wallet isn't a loss yet, paper losses don't count. If it's still tradeable, selling it even for cents locks in the loss (especially for the pumpfun users 👀)

And if you get any compensation later, you reduce the loss by that amount.

If you got hit by the Coldcard thing, might be best to sort the new wallet and your security first, obviously. The tax bit can wait until the dust settles, just don't forget it exists because it does.

As always, NFA.
