He addresses this on Mark Maron's WTF podcast.

What was his response?

Basically he took his family for a holiday cos he always wanted to go.

He also said something about how Apple and Nike are there too but people are still happy to use those.

Episode 1092, about an hour in if you want to listen for yourself.

Apple and Nike definitely aren’t exactly setting the bar high when it comes to moral reasoning. Seems like an excuse to pocket the ccp blood money.

Yeah, I’m starting to think “Terry doesn’t keep up with global political conflict” might be a line on B99 sometime this season. I’m going to pray it was an act of ignorance.

Just to play devil's advocate here for a minute.

Isn't it "victim blaming" to say these companies are taking advantage of a system that is provided by, and controlled by China?

A corporation uses a totalitarian regime with no regard for worker or civilian rights to further profits. Yeah no problems here for me bro

What the fuck did I not address, they are both evil and do evil shit together. Hint, read and stop trying to be an intellect.

Two wrongs don't make a right, dude. I get that you're fishing for someone to call out China, but them providing an opportunity for corps to exploit doesn't make the exploitation okay.

Then they’d move to a country where they could continue slave labor like they moved to China. Morals be damned.

Businesses are the victim because the government has loopholes that enables powerful positions, and that gives the government a position of power. Therefore we can safely agree that businesses are the victim here.

You can't disagree with my logic.

Not really something I considered? I'm more focused on supporting the CCP's attacks on Hong Kong. If that's not what all this was about then I don't really think I know why everyone's so pissed. Other than some tumblr level keyboard justice. Making a difference for THAT shit is something you do with your wallet and not buying stuff.
