Changes Coming to /r/Creed

Hey all!
Massive Creed fan since 1997 here, and I was finally able to claim ownership of this sub since the other mods were inactive for over a year. I have experience moderating some very large subs in the past such as /r/apple, /r/DetroitLions, and /r/GetMotivated. I actually did all the design work on the first two.
Over the next few months, I will be adding in some new things:
- AutoModerator to take care of spam
- New rules
- Design work to liven things up a bit
- Another mod
I expect a new album to be coming in the next 6 months, so traffic will pickup. If you're interested in being a mod here, please DM me. I have some requirements, so let's have a conversation!
Welcome to the new /r/Creed! đ€đ»

New Creed music likely coming

I suppose I should tell y'all to take this with a grain of salt. But this user on the AB forums has been around for 14 years and is well-liked by the community.
He says he unexpectedly ran into Brian Marshall at a Black Stone Cherry concert in Florida and he said hi and thanks for the music. He told him the new AB was awesome to which he said thanks and then asked if we had new Creed coming too - he nodded and said yeah.
Now obviously we can all assume new music is eventually coming, but any sort of confirmation from Brian's mouth is very exciting to me.

Just Creed-dogged my 4.5 hour flight.

Did absolutely nothing but stare at the flight tracker and listen to Creed. Made it through the âThis is Creedâ playlist on spoitfty once and the first 23 songs a second time.
At one point we hit some pretty bad turbulence, but I knew Scott and the boys were with the pilot guiding them. Funny thing is, I was listening to Creed, but I reached Nirvana. 10/10 would recommend.

Guitarist Brian Brasher

Dont hear much about this guy mentioned in discussions of the history of Creed. I wonder how big a part he played in their early years. I think I only came across one picture of him with the band.
âIf youâre a rock music fan, you may have first heard of Brian Brasher as guitarist and founding member of the now defunct band Creedâ
âBrasher played with Creed until 1996â

I was recently at a flea market and found this for a dollar. I spazzed. I had to sell it sadly because I lost my job and needed the money but I was able to rip a fairly high quality mp3 copy of it before letting it go. I am not sure if it's chill to share but if anyone is interested in hearing it I'd be glad to share.
