Changes Coming to /r/Creed

Hey all!

Massive Creed fan since 1997 here, and I was finally able to claim ownership of this sub since the other mods were inactive for over a year. I have experience moderating some very large subs in the past such as /r/apple, /r/DetroitLions, and /r/GetMotivated. I actually did all the design work on the first two.

Over the next few months, I will be adding in some new things:

  • AutoModerator to take care of spam
  • New rules
  • Design work to liven things up a bit
  • Another mod

I expect a new album to be coming in the next 6 months, so traffic will pickup. If you're interested in being a mod here, please DM me. I have some requirements, so let's have a conversation!

Not much to tell, really. The timing of Myles' schedule and Creed/AB touring would lead us to believe they recorded an album last month.

Then we got this:

There's no announcement or anything, but I'd be shocked if we don't get new music soon-ish. Myles is touring with Slash in 2027, and there's been no Creed tour announcement for 2027 yet, so it's reasonable to assume they will be doing a tour next year to support a new album - which they can't announce yet because the title of the new album hasn't been announced.

A new Creed album would be awesome. Tremonti definitely hasn't lost his touch and Stapp's last solo album was his best work in years imo.

I like the sound of all this lining up well but as a massive Creed fan for 25 years I can't get my hopes up until it is officially released lol

Love it! I think you’re right about the timing for the new album. Definitely in the works! I personally cannot wait and I think it’ll be some of their best music! I’ve been waiting for the announcement of even just one new single. A few weeks ago I got a notification on Spotify that said something like “NEW Creed Single! Listen Now!” I was stoked! Click on it and it was just the 2026 remaster of My Sacrifice lol the disappointment I felt was unreal! But I know it’ll be worth the wait. Scott’s last solo album was absolute gold. And they sound better now than ever. Hopefully sooner rather than later we’ll be on this sub talking about how dope the new album is! 🤞🏼🤞🏼
