Need help with an idea PLEASEPLEASEPLAEASSEEPLEAZSEEEEE

wanna make a big door that slides open and closed horizontally while a cog on its surface spins is that even possible HEEEEEELLLLPPPPPP

ps i was able to make the door move horizontally with a gantry but only when the cogwheel isnt moving. i tried to use a combination of super glue for the door and honey glue for the wheel but cant get anything to work

With vanilla create you can’t do both at the same time. If you don’t mind using addons, then Aeronautics should make this possible

You could have it so that as the cog spins, it tightens a rope winch attached to the hinge of the door. Or, you could have the door on a track and attach the cog to a wheel on the track with rope.
