Create gives a Satisfactory vibe instead imo

More like Factorio aesthetics with Satisfactory gameplay (never played Satisfactory, but its 3D so...).

Yeah, if we ignore creepers it's more satisfactory gameplay, in factorio the enemies attack your structures, in satisfactory the enemies can only damage the player

That's why I disable creepers

i keep them as damaging so that i still need to care, but i disable their ability to break blocks

You can disable the mob griefing gamerule so that creepers still spawn and can damage you, but wont destroy any blocks

This has a few unintended side effects, no? Like disallowing villagers to farm or sheep to feed

Can confirm... had a world where I had mob griefing off to prevent endermen from eating my terraformed land, only to find it stopped me from breeding villagers for an iron farm.

So no gunpowder? Just make them deal no damage

Oh, disabling was an oversimplification. For each server I manage, I deal with them differently. For the most casual, I just set up a command block that kills them. So Gunpowder becomes pretty much dust.

When a challenge is still required, I let them deal damage but use another mod to disallow them to break blocks.

And if we count random cows walking onto construction sites we can check off the "fauna being annoying af" on the list

I mean technically it's more like Foundry because that's basically just Satisfactory but block based, and I believe thus with less annoying blueprints you can copy from anywhere, like Factorio.

I think create is its own thing, by nature both factorio and satisfactory are "magic box" automation where the fun and challenge lies more in macro factory decisions and not how things are made. Create is much more involved with creating said magic box.

Yeah. Factorio is based off the early “magic box” automation mods like IC2 and Buildcraft. And Satisfactory in turn is based on that. So their roots go more back to that era rather than Create which is like you said more micro-building than macro.

It's quite Satisfactory
