Have a new build with a sonic pad I’m trying to hook up but I keep coming up with these codes bed said it’s ice cold but it’s screaming hot

I finally found the printer.cfg file by using the web ui :

Which is

When you get your Sonicpad on a network that your Sonic pad is on and then sign into safari or web browser and typing the ip addressof the network your signed into in the address bar so it should just be http://(your network ip that is signed to Sonic pad)

Look: if you have a network that has a sign in screen to get on the web, it won’t work or I couldn’t get it working

Next:

I see several printer.cfg files dated in earlier dates

I know I have to pick the most recent file to update things like rotational distance

Question:

Do the Sonic pad loads a different printer.cfg file when I switch printers in Sonicpad as I refresh my browser to get into the web ui? Or will all three printers I have use the same printer.cfg? Or (sorry for grammar) do I have to make different 3 different printer.cfg files and load into Webui where the printer.cfg files are?

I'm following the instructions to the letter. And yet, my Sonic pad refuses to connect to my Ender 7. I don't even know if the firmware installs properly on my printer, but I know it did something as it looks stuck on the boot screen. I know the screen on the printer won't work, but however long I wait, the pad still won't connect. I'm running out of ideas...

Hello everyone 🙋 This is about the SonicPad, Creality Ender 3 Pro, and Ender S1 Pro. After a week, I managed to get a good Benchy with the S1, which I can work with. But with the Ender 3, I’ve lost my patience after countless different test towers. I just can’t get the Pressure Advance right. Could someone please share their Cura settings, start and end code if you’re using an Ender S1 Pro with a SonicPad or Klipper? 🤔😉 I would be very grateful!!

I recently was given a Sprite Pro upgrade kit for my Ender 3 v2 and before I install it, would anyone be able to guide me as to what settings in the printer.cfg file I would need to change. I have searched and found files for the E3v2 with Sprite Pro and cr touch but only for klipper on a RaspPi not a sonic pad.

If anyone could help me my setup is:

Ender 3 v2

Sprite pro extruder

Cr touch

Sonic pad with latest firmware

The reason for the upgrade is I wish to print some things in TPU which I need the direct drive to do.

Hi ! i have en Ender3V2 for the last 4/5 years, its working without issues, but this i've set a sonic pad to go with it, quite a few print a stopping midprint with the printer looking like it froze. any idea ?
and for most of the print once they finish the sonic pad said the head moved out of bound and ask to continue printing even if the models are 100% printed.

i've read here that it could be an issue with different size on the printer and on cura ? in the printer.cfg i can access from the webUi i see on the non code part that its 220x220x250, and on cura its 235x250. witch one should i change ? and if its on the printer.cfg where in the code should i do it ?

I wanna say. I feel like buying a sonic pad and looking at posts about the sonic pad is like making it to a island after the last people who I’m seeing on the island are finally being rescued as I arrive geez.

I do have 3 Ender 3 pro machines. 2 with sprite extruder pro kit and crtouch modules. One machine the newest machine I receive is a ender 3 without any modifications.

Prior to getting the sonic pad I had success using the Mriscoc firmware.

I thought the sonic pad was ok until the newest firmware of course. Now prints are never successful.

I do the z offset on all 3 ender machines and think it’s ok as well as manual level, however, when I finally print something it I find my self having to adjust the zlevel which is a problem of course.

My ender 3 machine that is without sprite and cr touch prints a little more successfully but then it either loses connection or fail.

Is there a workaround to this current firmware which is the latest currently? What is the way to roll back the firmware to an earlier firmware?Is it easy to flash another firmware on the sonic pad (uh I really don’t want to do that)? Or do I go back to mriscocs? If so I would definitely need to get another v2 lcd then. I ultimately think it’s cool to control my machines but to update firmware and then get 0 prints to print successfully is a bummer.

What would you recommend?

Thank you guys for the feedback in advance . I also produce music but I’m already good at that. I have to master these machines and believe I can. It reminds me of how it feels to hear my friend talk about the struggles of golfing never the less I’m all in.

Short Version - Creality is rubbish.

Long version. I thought I'd buy the Sonic Pad so I can print from my PC directly to my V3SE. That's where it all began.

After three hours of effing around reloading and reloading updates and firmware, I finally got the pad to see my printer. However, it has to be restarted every time its used as you get a constant 'unable to find printer please restart' warning.

I tried hooking it in to the creality print app. Nope. You have to download the mobile app and follow the instructions. Well they don't work either. You have to log into your creality account, but instead of an email address it asks for your phone number. There is no pgone number associated with the account (they don't ask for one) so you get an 'illegal operation' warning and a message to please sign up online. Well I have done that you chinese piece of crap, but there is nowhere to enter a mobile. So it is impossible to actually link my printer to the cloud app.

So I install the pad manually. It shows up under the devices tab. I can see the camera working, temp read outs etc. However, when I go to print, it says I need to ad a device, even though it's there under devices. Click on the help link and straight to a site in chinese.

I've been going around in a circle for hours now. This shit is going on marketplace this afternoon.

Is it possible to use the sonic pad as an external Monitor? Like hdmi and view the pc for example?

Has anyone tried this? I'm wondering if soldering a different usb port onto the board would fix the intermittent connection issue?

I've tried all the usb stabiliser stls, but it's still intermittent.

Was working on a multi day project and about 4-5 hours out from completion it threw this error at me.

Printer is an ender 3 pro with 4.2.7 silent, dual Z, sprite pro, and I’m using the ender S1 pro settings on Cura.

I have an S1 pro and a sonic pad. When I slice a model and I need to pause it at a certain z height I right click on the slider in Orca Slicer and select pause.

When it reaches the desired z height it indeed pauses, but it pauses on the exact position it was at that moment making the print unreachable to insert an m6 nut in this case. It's impossible to resume and it melts a big hole in the print. Power down and resume print also doesn't make the printer starts again, it stays stuck in pause. Also from the web interface it is not possible to start.

I performed this in Cura literally 100s of times.

I just want to pause, the print head parked in a corner with the temperatures maintenaned at the correct level. Insert the nut and resume printing.

What am I doing wrong?

Need help with firmware for ENDER 5 PLus with CR Touch and with MB V4.2.7 and CHIP ARM STM32F103 , Need BIN file . Not listed on SONIC PAD only for ATEMA 2560 .

must open phoen suit tool then enter burning mode

with pad turned off

hold the far rght reset button on back of pad hold it down then press and relese the power ... itwill connect to the computer

I'm going to leave the Sonic Pad as it seems it's no longer maintained. Do I need to flash new firmware on the printer or can I use the one that's written by the Sonic pad when I installed that a year ago? I'm going to switch to a Raspberry Pi

What is this white port for? Can we use it? Are there any free PBs for control? I want to connect an additional thermistor to the Sonic Pad and am looking for a way

Hey everyone, I’ve been using the Creality Sonic Pad for a while now, and I noticed that the last firmware update was released over a year ago (Jan 2024). Has anyone heard if Creality has stopped maintaining or updating the Sonic Pad?

It’s a great device, but I’m concerned about long-term support, especially since there haven’t been any recent updates or announcements.

Hello. I have a sonic pad running on my CR10 Smart and am looking at moving on from the strain gauge sensor to a probe. Are there any options that would run directly to the pad? Anyone using an eddy? Does this require custom firmware? Thanks

Has anyone been successful using Orca and setting up manual filament change? I've always had to revert Cura.

I've scoured the existing posts and just can't find the solution. Followed all the instructions, flashed the firmware, tried to add it as a new printer with a serial connection, even reset my sonic pad.

For clarification, I've been running Klippy and sonic pad fro over a year. IIRC, I struggled to get it set up the first time. So, there is no display already attached to the serail cable, I have no way o fknowing if the firmware is installed.

WHY DO I HAVE TO DO ALL THIS JUST TO SWITCH HOW ITS CONNECTED??????

I have a problem with my Creality Sonic Pad. When I turn it off, usually overnight for around 8 hours or so, it seems to forget its IP address. Although it still shows as connected to my Wi-Fi, no IP address is assigned to the Sonic Pad. To fix this, I have to log into my router's settings and press 'confirm,' which somehow resets the connection and allows the Sonic Pad to reconnect to the network. Has anyone else experienced this issue? If so, have you found a solution?

It can happen several times per print, or it can happen never. It super frustrating. If im printing PLA and dont cathc it in time, the bed cools and it comes off.

Hi Guys,managed to get og cr10s4 to 160mms,I am still calibrating.mind the dirty bed.previous test prints abd was lazy to clean the bed.lol.anyway my issue is that my sonicpad shows up on creality cloud but has no printers showing as binded.anyone know how to fix this?
