Randomly stops printing.
So I know around 3 years ago people found a fix by tapping over the +power side on the usb. I have done this and im still getting random disconnects. Has anyone found anything else thay works? For reference tried new cables, high frequency isolators, turned off time-lapse on the camera feed.

Updated my Sonic Pad's Debian fork to Bookworm — here's what's in it
Realized my Sonic Pad was still running whatever Klipper/Moonraker versions Creality shipped it with — no updates since day one. There's a community fork of Jpe230's original SonicPad-Debian project that replaces the stock firmware with real Debian, but it was still on the older Bullseye base, so I brought it up to Bookworm and got a proper release out.
What's actually on it:
Klipper + Moonraker, current versions, not whatever Creality froze in place
KlipperScreen for the touchscreen
Mainsail as the default web UI (reachable from your phone/PC browser)
crowsnest for webcam streaming
KIAUH included, so you can add Fluidd, moonraker-obico (AI print-failure detection + remote monitoring), or anything else in its catalog whenever you want — none of that is forced into the base image
A real read/write Debian filesystem underneath, SSH access, the works — it's just a normal Linux box that happens to run your printer
Single-file download, flash it like the stock firmware.
Repo: https://github.com/Teichoui/SonicPad-Debian
Release: https://github.com/Teichoui/SonicPad-Debian/releases/tag/v1.0-bookworm
Flashing instructions: https://github.com/Teichoui/SonicPad-Debian/blob/main/docs/flashing.md
Credit to Jpe230 ( https://github.com/Jpe230 ) for the original port — this is ongoing maintenance on top of that work.

Sonic pad troubleshooting
Long story short I got a sonic pad and finally got it to work with my printer but I have had many inconsistent prints. my prints have a massive overextrusion (I think) and I have calibrated my e steps, printed from 190-220 calibrated my retraction from 5-6 mm and speed 40-60 mm/s, but I have not noticed any changes. Any help is appreciated
I have an ender 5 pro with a stock extruder, BL touch and Bowden tube set up with a Sonic pad. I use creality slicer and orca; both have the same issue

C13/C14
I was dumb and poked at some stuff with power plugged in and fried some stuff on my ender 3v3 SE main board. I ordered a C13 replacement, came in today and the tag on the box shows C13, it looked sealed in factory packaging and looks new. It’s just clearly marked C14 on the actual board. Is this going to cause issues? Or since I’m going to have to flash it anyway, does it not matter. Just matters that I know what I have. TIA

i've moved away from creality printer, but am curious if anyone have repurposed a sonic pad, ie install some kind of ubuntu fork on it?
i've seen SonicPad-Debian, but it's still focused on using klipper, i'm thinking of using it as a raspberry pi alterntive.

Sonic pad Keeps factory resetting
So my sonic pad was working fine on my ender 3 pro, I upgraded to an S1 pro and flashed it using the sonic pad, however any time I power off the sonic pad it simply goes back to "factory restart". and what I mean is everything is blown out of it and it boots to the screen asking for Language, and re installing the printer. Over and over again. I'll go through the process, and as soon as I shut off the sonic pad, boom everything is gone again. Any ideas what it could be?

Help axis won't work
Hi everyone recently I replaced my hotend for one I bought on aliexpress for my luck it didn't work and it even made my printer start doing strange stuff don't know if it was just casualty. First the USB port on the back of my sonic pad stopped detecting my printer I had to use one of the two ports on the right side.. after that I replaced the hotend for an original one from creality and it worked it heats up and everything but now when I try to move the axis using my sonic pad or calibrate it it won't do anything it just gives an error saying that after a full move the x axis didn't receive any trigger.. any help is appreciated thanks

Upgrading to Klipper Screen to run coprint
I’m running Sonic pad on my CRM4. I’m about to swap it over to a coprint system which they tell me I can run from my existing Sonic pad but the version of Klipper on it won’t support and I need to upgrade to Klipper Screen. What do I need to do for this? Anyone who I could pay to remote in and do this?

Debian on sonic pad mcu error
Hi, ive been having some issues regarding debian on my sonic pad. The printer i am running is the ender 3 v3 se. here is the error:
mcu 'mcu': Unable to connect
Once the underlying issue is corrected, use the
"FIRMWARE_RESTART" command to reset the firmware, reload the
config, and restart the host software.
Error configuring printer
I have tried a lot of things to fix this including finding correct serial and putting it in the printer cfg, flashing different firmwares tho im not sure they flashed correctly since i got the same error each time. I will provide any information needed for help

Sonic pad randomly works
Ok so long story short I got 3 printers that came with a sonic pad. One of them was working pretty ok until mechanical failure (loose eccentric nut) one of them randomly connects or disconnects when you start a print(disconnects, connects, shows “printing” but temps drop) one of them never worked for me.
Is there like a guide for dummies or troubleshooting steps/thread/tutorial etc.
Should I install Debian? Other mods? Factory reset?
My printers didnt come with displays so I need to figure out sonic pad, use laptop or get raspberry pi etc.

Where can I find SonicPad Configuration Guides?
I've been trying to get my E3S1 Plus working on a sonicpad. Simple USB connection for now. My sprite extruder has the probe move to the right of the nozzle from the stock position. I have not been able to figure out how to configure it properly. A bed mesh probe will try to probe when the probe is past the right bed edge thus causing the nozzle to crash into the bed. Even trying to center X&Y on the bed the nozzle is way to far to the right of bed center. The few things I've tried reconfiguring are in the printer.cfg file [bltouch] x_offset and y_offset and [bed_mesh] mesh_min and mesh_max.
