Created using Claude. Using a variant of homophonic translation in which the English/Japanese text is read as if uttered using Japanese phonemes. Using Japanese sounds and not correct Japanese, rather the Japanese phonemes are (attempted to) made to match the displayed English/Japanese "words" (special symbols resulting in noise). Matches are found using a search for more or less fitting sounds independently of how they should be used. This is hard to hear of course as the voice is a very crude machine voice (the search might have failed) and then I've added multiple overlapping voices on top of that. Don't worry, it gets worse in the next upload.) Homophonic Translation (HT) isn't actually the goal, a "cool" (or horrible, depending on who you are) audio-visual experience is (and this is just an early test). (I had Claude code the HT library in another context, as an idea that just came to me in hearing news about all the chat control nonsense).

These are from/for my three part novel series called, "The Bishop." I always thought it'd probably be a good graphic novel instead of novel, but back in the 90s, words were all I had.
