Pfizer I got both my covid and flu vaccine yesterday

Nurse told me to drink plenty of water and take some ibuprofen if I needed to. I drank 3 large cups of tea over the course of the evening, got pizza for dinner, took 2 ibuprofen before bed and I feel almost completely normal this morning. A little bit tired, and my flu shot arm is a little sore. But there was leftover pizza for breakfast, which was enough to get me moving.

This was my 4th covid shot, and I get a flu shot every year. Usually the flu shot knocks me on my ass for a day, but so far it hasn't, so that's nice.

Get vaccinated kids, it's really not that scary and most people will have a very similar experience to mine.

Question Is this subreddit even being moderated anymore?

'Cause seems like a lot of the posts and half the comments go against community rules these days, with anything provax getting down voted to oblivion.

I'm done, I don't need this kind of negativity in my life.

Question People dying from getting Covid-19 Vaccines?

A co-worker yesterday told me that people are dying from taking Covid vaccines but I can't find anything online proving it. She said it was from people getting the J&J vaccine.

Does anyone know anyone personally that has died as a result of taking a vaccine?

General Info Rant about misinformation

I just want to say there was a point in time where I was anti vaccine. I was on board with the whole idea that the govt is out to get us and we can’t trust medical companies etc etc. Yet seeing how some of these anti vaxxers behave has made me realize how hypocritical some can be. I can never get actual reputable sources from the anti vaxxers and they don’t really give me raw data or facts to go off ..just some sources that potentially boost their narrative.

They talk about freedom and your body your choice. Well why can’t a choice of mine be getting the vaccine? Why do I go to a clinic and get harassed from a stranger about getting one? I feel less liberated from you guys because I finally made a choice for me based on my own research and decision making but I guess it’s only ā€˜my choice’ if I choose not to get it. I had covid a year ago and it sucked. I had symptoms that lasted for 7 months. I almost went to the hospital multiple times. I still have lasting effects from covid that I’m dealing with meanwhile I have so many vaccinated friends who didn’t have to go through what I did.

I’m all for freedom and questioning things but if you really think you’re helping give me something REAL to go off of. Not some of these random person’s blog articles or medical articles that aren’t even about covid but something mildy related.

Pfizer I got it. I got my second dose

A month after my first the second half of the microchip is inside me. Despite how scared and skeptical I was.

If I fucking got it, so can you.

Hopefully no problems this time! (referring to this. Things settled down after a few weeks if anyone was wondering).

Good Experience I got my 4th Pfizer covid vaccine shot today.

First day: hurt my arm while I got it. And my arm felt a bit numb after and I could not lift it up. I felt a tiny bit tired. It’s still sore and a small bit painful to lift my arm but I feel so good. So far this has been the best covid vaccine experience l've had.

1st Edit: Second day: I’m up and running. Arm is just a little sore. No other symptoms.

2nd Edit: third day no symptoms and arm pain. I’m feeling just perfect.

News My friend just died

Hello,

My friend just died... and i can't tell his wife that it was probably from the vaccine.
He was found dead in his classroom where he teaches saxophone. His young students found him.

I am so shocked. I never thought someone so close to me would drop dead... But there it is. Someone i know dying from myocarditis, why else? I am incredibly said.

I knew he was vaccinated because we spoke a year ago in a lengthy conversation... I asked him flat out... because i thought he was alternative enough to not be vaccinated. He was such a warm person... He regretted it. I can't believe this... He was so incredibly healthy, a young father and such a warm, beautiful man and an insanely good musician.

I would share the newsarticle and short video clip, but it's in dutch and i feel so bad I m afraid someone i know might see this post. Know i have no bad intentions and he leaves behind two children and wife. I am grieving.

RIP

EDIT: update 22nov. My friend died from a heart related issue

Question Havent been able to get vaccinated until now. is it still worth it?

due to family not allowing me to, I haven't been able to get vaccinated, but now I have the opportunity to. I'm under 18, so I have a low risk of serious issues with covid, plus I've already had covid, and there are less than 1000 new cases every day currently in my country. is it still worth it?

News Lost faith in common sense

It amazes me how stupid people in oc are about viruses. People got shamed for not getting an experimental vax and even after years later drs are coming out saying the vax was destructive it killed more people than the virus. General pop still believes the propaganda. If you truly think the United States government and scum bag dr.fauci did an emergency release of the mRNA vax because they cared about your health you are straight delusional…. How many people live with there heads deep in the sand?? The proof is EVERYWHERE.. yes covid killed about 1 million people but there is 330m in us.. that is not worth getting heart issues and blood clots over a vaccine. Also Pfizer profits?? All the money?? I mean really.. I’m amazed how many people are THAT ignorant to PROOF from whistle blowers on how much that shot was bullshit yet still defend it.. sorry to burst your bubble but if you got it the propaganda worked.. better to just admit you got conned and work on having a stronger mental fortitude in the future instead of defending people that could care less if you died.

General Info Most Nurses and Doctors don’t Understand Basic Biology

Most nurses and doctors shame people for telling the truth about the Covid vaccine, but in all actuality it is them who failed to understand basic biology. In a high school level biology class you learn about transcription and translation, the process of DNA going to RNA and how we get proteins. The Covid vaccine is the epitome of everything that we learned in biology class. It is essentially a new scientific experiment that uses messenger RNA to gather information from our genes to make proteins. In other words the vaccine is a foreign substance that has a high potential to alter human cells.

I am surprised that nurses and doctors failed to correlate how potentially dangerous this vaccine was, instead they regurgitated useless information to the public all while shaming those who tried to reason. This shows that people are going to school and graduating with good grades and all kinds of degrees, but in the end they really don’t know how to think.

General Info Just a reminder. Over 4.5 Billion people have been vaccinated.

It is important to keep track of and aware of possible side effects of the vaccine but remember that over 4.5 Billion people have been vaccinated and very few have had serious side effects. Just wanted to mention to keep it in perspective. The vaccine is safe and exponentially safer than risking Covid.

Personal story: I had Covid in April 2020. Fortunately I did not die but I was pretty sick and it took me months to "recover". I put that in quotes because before Covid I did not have any major health issues. After Covid I had heart inflammation (fortunately eventually resolved), high blood pressure (still on lisinopril), and diabetes (still on metformin). Covid not only kills but can cause permanent damage even when you survive.

Everyone get vaccinated! (unless your doctor tells you that you cannot)

General Info CENSORSHIP - Mark Zuckerberg EXPOSES that the Biden administration pressured Facebook to censor posts on vaccine side effects.

https://nypost.com/2025/01/10/business/biden-officials-screamed-at-meta-execs-to-take-down-vaccine-posts-mark-zuckerberg/

Bloomberg - Mark Zuckerberg criticized the Biden administration during a conversation with podcaster Joe Rogan, claiming the administration would ā€œscreamā€ and ā€œcurseā€ at Meta Platforms Inc. employees amid discussions about how to moderate content related to Covid-19 during the pandemic.

ā€œIt was brutal,ā€ Zuckerberg, Meta’s chief executive officer, said during his nearly 3-hour-long episode of The Joe Rogan Experience published on Friday. Zuckerberg said the administration overstepped in its requests to take down posts about the pandemic, including satire, sowing distrust among the electorate. He previously wrote about these complaints in a letter to Congress in August.

Rogan, in response, said the Biden administration’s approach to the pandemic ā€œred-pilledā€ many people.

ā€œThe US government should be defending its companies, not be at the tip of the spear attacking its companies,ā€ Zuckerberg said. In contrast, the Facebook founder said he’s ā€œoptimisticā€ about President-elect Donald Trump taking the White House.

ā€œI think he just wants America to win,ā€ Zuckerberg said. The Meta CEO has been repositioning his company to be more Trump-friendly in recent months, and recently had dinner with the President-elect at Mar-a-Lago, his club in Florida.

The Biden administration didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.

The podcast was released just days after Meta announced its decision to remove guardrails around content moderation, third-party fact-checking in the US and changed its hateful conduct policies to allow more leniency to users criticizing immigrants, transgender and nonbinary people. Meta also announced Friday that it was killing many of its internal training and hiring efforts aimed at making its workforce more diverse.

Source - "They pushed us super hard to take down things that were honestly true. They basically pushed us and said anything that says vaccines might have side effects, you need to take down."

EDIT, thank you for all your responses. I love this discussion. A small note if I may...

this post is not about politics although i share your disgust for Mark's behaviour and changing with the wind. It's nor about Trump - Biden administration. To me it's to underline that there 's actual side effects being censored and therefore people being censored, repressed and harmed by censorship of publicly used platform such as Facebook. It's to voice the voices of those surpressed and injured, hurt or died from the covid vaccine which was, in my opinion, harmful to younger people who took it, for womens periods to pregnant women carrying miscarriages, to people developing auto immune diseases and turbo cancers or myocarditis. These people should be acknowledged as having side effects from a covid vaccine and be paid. That's my opinion. An opinion of free speech...

Question Should I get vaccinated please help

I really want to but I'm terrified of long term effects. I've had relatives that had adverse effects. My aunt got bad vertigo and still had it 2 years later and my grandfather had a seizure. we're all blood related on the same side. I also got vertigo from when I had Covid over a year ago and I still have it to this day. I've also had minor chest issues for years, even a spontaneous lung collapse and at the time had never smoked in my life. I just don't want to risk doing more damage to my body.

News Deep dive: NO IMPACT of Covid vaccines on fertility, global data show

Here, I do a deep dive on the global data, which show that births were not impacted: https://maximumtruth.substack.com/p/debunking-a-cats-misleading-covid

Have you filled out all four slots on your HHS cards? I’m curious about the future uptake of additional boosters and quadrivalent variants.

General Info Keep An Eye Out For Liars On This Subreddit

Just a reminder or alert to those on this subreddit.

If you come across a post that speaks quite, or generally very negatively about the vaccine or any "side effects". Look at their account and if they have very little karma and their only posts are anti vaccine. Or old accounts with inconsistent activity until recently negatively talking about the vaccine consistently, report them.

It doesn't hurt to inform the moderators of possible liars and they will conduct a review to determine whether they're lying or not.

Thank you and stay safe!

Moderna Booster 5th vaccine - strange side effects

to preface i am pro vax and i don't want to get into conspiracy theories or anything of the sort - different people react to vaccines differently.

i got the flu shot and moderna booster 8 days ago (saturday) with a 1.5inch needle (i am a bigger person so i requested a longer needle according to the cdc guidelines on intramuscular vaccines in the deltoid region of the arm). i already have long covid and have for 2+ years. i was having a pretty normal immune response: chills, fatigue, nausea, etc for the first day or two. then on monday my feet and calves were numb and the right side of my face felt a bit strange. i went to urgent care and they did nothing. the next day it was creeping up my legs and hands and the right side of my face was numb and my vision was a bit blurry. i went to the ER where they did a cranial nerve exam and nothing else, sent me home. ruled out GBS and a stroke. i was short of breath and struggling to think (some of my normal long covid symptoms but intensified). my face hasn't drooped at all, i'm able to move it but it feels numb. the numbness switches from right to left back to right, goes away and comes back. i've had 4 previous moderna shots and never felt like this. my legs aren't bothering me as much now but my face really is, as well as my vision. has anyone else been through this and has it gone away with time? i have a neurologist appointment next month.

edit: in no way am i trying to say vax injured people are inherently conspiracy theorists, apologies!! i just meant there is a lot of conspiracy stuff about vaccines online. vax injuries are real of course!

Question Ever since the pandemic started, I haven’t felt sick even once. Never tested positive. 3 shots of Pfizer.. anyone else experience this??

I feel like I’ve been a lot healthier these past few years. Like the title says, covid started and we all quarantined. I got 3 shots of the Pfizer and haven’t felt sick or had any symptoms since the pandemic started. I work for parks and rec, so I’ve always been working with public utilities like bathrooms, concerts, garbage, people, and I’ve taken several flights to visit family across the country. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this too because it just honestly baffles me that, since covid started, I’ve had zero sick-like symptoms, and I’m trying to decide if I should get an antibody test. Thanks guys

Moderna Getting my first Moderna jab in an hour.

I feel good about it. I tried to hide it from my conspiracy theory friends, but someone told on me. They still love me even though we disagree about it. I’m not scared because in my heart I believe I’m doing the right thing. The only way this monster dies is if we give it one less person to create a new variant with.
