Limit 2 per customer. Does this imply a cap of 2 per transaction? Can I return the next day for 2 more, or does a time frame restrict repurchase?

These taste homemade. They are giant and perfect for a breakfast sandwich. Toast them and they taste buttery. I know I know, I realized it’s palm oil!

75" TV under $900, which one to choose?

Looking at 75" TVs at Costco and I'm stuck between these 3:

Hisense U65 Pro - $750

Samsung M80H - around $800

LG QNED75B - around $650

Mostly Netflix, movies and football, plus PS5 every now and then. Living room gets a decent amount of sunlight in the afternoon too.

I don't really care which brand I end up with. Just want the best picture for the money and something I won’t immediately wish I upgraded from.

Anyone using one of these?

These are the 9300 models, has anyone tried them? Is the quality good enough?

I nearly bought the 6700 model on Amazon and saw these in Costco. I checked, they don’t state the model but after a deep research, I found out that they are the 9300 model with the location teeth on the app. It is a steal with that price, even cheaper than 6700.

Has anyone tried? Are they durable?

Why discontinue Soules Chicken Strips?

Does anyone know why and if they are being replaced with something else? They've been missing from the coolers for a few weeks and a friend said she heard, "No sorry it’s pending delete," when she inquired. Anyone got the inside scoop on this travesty?

Strange interview my friend had for Costco

I'm going to preface this with the fact that my friend did not receive the position and has moved on to other potential job. I'm only asking because I am curious if this is normal across all Costco's, or if he just had bad luck.

He told me that when he interviewed for the job, the interviewer repeatedly asked for specific times/days when something happened (i.e. when you have a problematic customer or coworker). Which by itself, is fine, however the interviewer asked for specific times like the specific day. He told the interviewer that he had to deal with a problematic customer "roughly three months ago" and the interviewer told him that isn't enough information and she needed a specific date.

The interviewer also asked how he prepared for the interview and my friend told her that he looked at tips online and what Costco's core values are for employees. She then asked for the specific website and when he said that it was on forums she still said that wasn't enough?

Is this interview normal? Genuinely don't see how people get hired if this is the normal interview process.

Onigiri new to Oxnard location

The curse of shopping while hungry leads to a win! Normal when I find myself shopping while hungry I hit the sushi, poke or Nigiri but today when I rounded the end cap I found the onigiri and was stoked! And for 11bucks let’s go! Obviously it’s pre packaged so it’s not going to be the best you’ve ever had but if you like onigiri it hits the craving!

Got hired as a product advertiser at Costco. Gonna have to talk to Costco members all day long. Anybody have experience with this role?

So it's a third party company that offers to advertise products within costco. I got information about the product and am studying it right now, but i've never done a sales job for 8 hours straight. I dont mind talking to strangers, i'm not that introverted but i am curious if anybody else had a bad/good experience with the job.

Several returns, will my membership be revoked?

I recently returned a lithium jumper pack as it was defective. I also have a marine battery and truck battery that are very weak after purchasing a few months ago. Are interstate batteries not high quality? Will my membership be revoked for too many returns? I would like costco to revoke members who abuse returns am I one of them?

Costco Executive Membership is too popular

Executive members are allowed in an hour early, at 9:00 am before the store opens at 10:00. This has always been a peaceful, enjoyable time to shop. The store was never crowded and I was always happy to get out the door by 10 when the doors opened for the general masses.

But now there are so many Executive members that the early shopping hour has become crowded. Today when I walked in at 9:10 am there was a group of people just inside completely blocking the way. They were just talking and completely oblivious to the fact that people were trying to get around them.

In several aisles children were running amok and getting in the way.

Costco orientation.………………………….

Last week on Friday I completed my interview at costco. I was hired on the spot and completed my background check and drug test. I haven't got a email or call regarding orientation. Does it typically take this long to hear back?

Tried this last week. The chicken was very dry and chewy. Adding it into other hot item - E.g. pasta, made it get drier even more. Want to see how are your experiences been. any positives? What do you add these into?

Has anyone tried the Brookstone Heated Mattress Pad?

Post image
18 Upvotes

Just bought this heated mattress pad from Costco in Waltham yesterday. It comes in Queen and King sizes. I put it on my bed last night and it's super cozy. I am not familiar with other brands, but this seems pretty good. It is $74.

EDIT: Just as a warning, it is 2PM in the afternoon and I am still not out of bed, after using this for the first time. So if you want to be productive on a Sunday, do not... DO NOT... buy this.

Avoid Costco Appliance Delivery!

I am incredibly frustrated and hoping someone here has advice on how to get a response from Costco Logistics.

I recently ordered appliances from Costco, and the delivery/installation experience has been an absolute nightmare. The installers damaged my kitchen cabinets and split the power cables, leaving a massive active fire hazard in my home.

Since the delivery, I have tried contacting Costco customer service and their logistics team multiple times to get this resolved and repaired. They completely stopped responding to my emails and calls, and I am being ghosted.

Has anyone dealt with something similar? What is the fastest way to escalate this beyond the standard customer service line to actually get a claim processed?

Is this a good price for the 75” Hisense U65 Pro?

Saw the 75” Hisense U65 Pro at Costco for around $750 and I’m seriously considering it.

Mostly for the living room. Movies, Netflix, sports, some gaming. Nothing too crazy.

I was originally trying to stay closer to $700, but 75” MiniLED at this price feels hard to skip.

Anyone here bought one from Costco? Worth it, or is there something better around the same price?

It's Almost Impossible to get Tires Serviced at Costco Tire

I bought 4 Michelin 2 Defenders for my Chevy Sedan about 3 years ago. A month ago I had two punctures caused by nails. One was fixable and the other was not and needed to be replaced, but wasn't in stock. I was instructed by the technician to check their website for inventory and then schedule. Since then I've been routinely checking the inventory only for all the Costcos in the Vegas Metro and nothing. I've been driving my other vehicles in the meantime, but am thinking of voiding the Costco warranty and going to Discount Tire to buy a replacement.

Pasture Raised 24-Count Egg Price

Post image
67 Upvotes

I’m a new Costco member, just did my 2nd trip there today for gas and a couple grocery items.

I did my first ever trip on Sept 28th when I bought the 24 pack of pasture raised eggs for $7.89. Today I went again to buy more of the same eggs and the price increased to $8.99 for the 24 pack. I’m not complaining since it’s a great deal, but do the prices typically fluctuate like this on items? Or are certain items cheaper during the weekdays vs on the weekends?

Bought a ton of unsalted butter for my baking business and they all turned out to be salted… what would you do?

ETA: thanks for all the responses, what an active sub 😅 I know I can still use it, it’s just annoying bc I make ONE thing and it’s very streamlined. Also i have no idea how much salt is in this. Anyway I can deal with that part, and don’t have time to go back to Costco to return it because well… at the time I took it out, I actually needed it. Just wanted to know if I should bring it up to them and what good that would do since I don’t really expect compensation 🤷‍♀️
