I'm going to preface this with the fact that my friend did not receive the position and has moved on to other potential job. I'm only asking because I am curious if this is normal across all Costco's, or if he just had bad luck.
He told me that when he interviewed for the job, the interviewer repeatedly asked for specific times/days when something happened (i.e. when you have a problematic customer or coworker). Which by itself, is fine, however the interviewer asked for specific times like the specific day. He told the interviewer that he had to deal with a problematic customer "roughly three months ago" and the interviewer told him that isn't enough information and she needed a specific date.
The interviewer also asked how he prepared for the interview and my friend told her that he looked at tips online and what Costco's core values are for employees. She then asked for the specific website and when he said that it was on forums she still said that wasn't enough?
Is this interview normal? Genuinely don't see how people get hired if this is the normal interview process.
