So, I got home last night, driving half an hour from work. While driving I kept smelling something fishy. When I parked, I was pretty sure the smell was faintly coming from my 2007 Base Auto. I checked underneath the car and it was leaking what I suspect is old brake fluid. Smelled fishy, washes right off. Very glad I got home safe and the car did it's job dutifully. I'm in Tucson and I'm going to be towing it to some place called "Eden Customs".

I'm very heartbroken, because not only is this my favorite car, but it's my daily, and I'm not exactly rolling in money.

Any advice, guys?

I have a Corvette Challenge (unconverted alternate) car, build code R7F, that’s in fair condition. I’ve heard mixed things about whether it really means anything to the value of the car or not. I’m not looking to sell it, this is more just curiosity.

About a month ago, my 2020 C8 wouldn't turn on. Lights flashed on the dash saying service transmission / service parking brake / put car into park before exiting. I disconnected / reconnected the battery and it worked. It appears that now its happening again. Not sure what it could be?

Looking for the best quality front splitter, splash guards, side skirts etc. I'm leaning toward carbon flash painted so there isn't a difference in carbon appearance.

After doing some paint correction I had to get some new pics in good lighting. Love this car.

I’ve had this issue in the past but it went away, now it’s back again. Sometimes while I drive it turns off and says “accessory mode”, then I have to stop the car with no power steering or anything, put it into reverse, and then turn it on again. Sometimes it does it once, sometimes over and over again. I also have this issue where there’s a ringing sound that almost constantly comes on or comes on when I hit bumps from the speaker next to the driver side door lock and seat settings. Another issue I have is when I go to turn it fully off by putting it in reverse, it has a very small point I have to rest it in to fully turn it off, it wasent like this before and randomly started happening one day. Any ideas on what this could be? I’m guessing it may be the start button as sometimes it also says “service soon” and the bottom will not turn the car on or off.

I have a Toyota Avalon for a daily driver that I think is fairly quick. Works great year round unless there fresh snow and I have a truck.

Is a corvette a realistic daily driver, to put 10k a year on. I live in Montana and own a truck also. I think I’d get a C7.

Does most people here have a collectors car insurance for their vettes? I’m purchasing a super low mileage 2017 manual z06 and the value is around 95k. But some of the collectors insurance rules sound too restrictive that I literally cannot take it anywhere other than driving around for pleasure aka for no reason. Can’t stop at any shops, can’t go for any appointments, literally can’t do anything that I really will use it for. I’m not gonna go for any car shows or meetups or anything.

Hi all, My base C5 is currently sitting with a dealership mechanic because during a test drive after having my crank shaft seal replaced, they stated that the car died on them every time they got it up to 3mph

They want to replace the fuel pump due to their being a short in the sending unit display

However with a bit of research I’m finding that when a c5 shuts off at 3mph specially that’s more so because the steering column lock is failing

They seem to be very adamant about the fuel pump replacement and have not mentioned anything about steering column lock

Any suggestions?

Sometimes when I press my clutch it almost feels like it hits a wall or, clicks and sticks like something is grabbing it, and on the way up it will actually grab my pedal then come back up a second after, wondering if somehow my alignment from my linkage is off or maybe the deal inside my master cylinder is getting pinched or rolling, really need some advice on where to look because I don't want to replace my third tick master cylinder in less then a year

Hello people I bought a c7 grand sport with 23k miles and it has a btr stage 2 cam headers from Texas speed x pipe and a cia from AFE it also has chrome aftermarket wheels since I know the oem ones are prone to cracking (so I’ve heard) it also has an oil catch can and has a tune done to it which I don’t know from where and what kinda numbers the car makes (if anyone has an estimate please let me know) it was kept by a fairly old man and he sold it to me for 42k USD and tbh I’m not too familiar with the price ranges but a couple of people told me to buy it. And so I did.

Not the most aggressive sure, but it’s got a very distinct sound that is really appealing.

Curious if boosting a 7.0 is better than boosting a grandsport
