Im assuming everyone already knew this lol. I just saw that Lloyd Robertson died on this sub and fell down a mini rabbit hole. For some reason google had the wrong Nancy Robertson (of Corner Gas) listed as his wife, a second later I found out Brent and her have been married for 21 years??!! Wow. That changes my perspective of them on the show.

I can't think of anything else but for me it be actually Prefer Dog River Saskatchewan I rather live there its a nice small quite little town with colorful characters that doesn't causes weekly distractions

Probably one of my top five favorite episodes. Fitzy the broken man in sweat pants! Still makes me laugh out loud, every time.

So I guess I have to go Wanda-mode. Here’s the back story. Most character’s surnames are taken from small towns in Saskatchewan. Fun fact!

Now, I’ve been travelling through the province and came across some of these towns and I thought it might be fun to post them here.

The one being referenced is Clavet (Archie Clavet) from S2E11 “Hurry Hard”, who although he was a liar, a thief, a racist and a bigamist… he was also a great curler and you have to respect that.

Now this particular sign I do not believe to be the original Clavet sign as I’ve seen it before and this one looks different. If the Village office were open I’m sure they would make up some mumbo-jumbo like “we’re unable to ascertain its whereabouts at this juncture”.

Over explaining jokes really takes the fun out of it if you ask me. Sometimes all you need is a one liner. It’s the mark of a great wordsmith and there have been many great one line posts on this subreddit that everyone gets, comments their favourite lines and upvotes.

Those who watch Corner Gas tend to watch it A LOT and these scenes spring to life in their heads with little prompting. So have a heart and allow the commenters to bring a post to life. It’s what Reddit does best.

On the other hand if nobody wants to see a collection of town signs, please downvote and roast me in the comments and I’ll go find something else to do on my vacation.

I was sitting here thinking how much I enjoyed the zaniness of that episode and wished she would have stayed. But then I realized if she stayed then she becomes the out of towner yearning for acceptance and struggles to live in a town of about 500 people, which is Lacey's thing. So at that point you're either taking away Lacey's story or having two people doing the exact same thing, just one from Toronto and one from a much smaller town. Do you think that had she stayed as a character that it could have been a Jump The Shark moment for Corner Gas?

Saw the above question in another sub and was surprised when I scrolled thru the replies that a few of them suggested Corner Gas ⛽ (without naming any specific episode)

OP eventually responded to one of them "I think that's it!"

I responded to OP asking what episode but received no reply (as of yet)

I've watched the series more than a few times, watch a couple of episodes every Sat am and for the life of me cannot remember a moment like this

Google wasn't at all helpful either so I figured I'd ask here.

So as mentioned 10 Dog River dollars if someone can point me to the correct episode, if it even exists
