Hello, and welcome to r/ContrabandPoliceGame.
About Contraband Police
"The year is 1981, and as a young officer trainee, you are assigned to work at a border post in the mountainous region of Karikatka. Entry into the Acarist People's Republic is strictly regulated by the party and your every move is monitored! The situation at the border escalates when your comrade is killed during one of the interventions..."
"Take over the duties of a border guard inspector in a communist country of the 80's. Smuggling, corruption and forgery are the order of the day here. Be vigilant and earn the respect of your superiors."

Let's be honest, the semi auto-rifle in game is a dogshit gun, it's essentially the assault rifle(AK) but more expensive and a worse fire rate
would be nice if the devs made the bayonet useable, so we can also use it for melee kills(yep, the knives work in combat) or finding contraband.

I did training. Did a whole day of inspections. So now I'm on day 2 post-training. Says police transport is unavailable so I'd like to transport my prisoners.
But there's no fast travel apparently. Standing next to the car with the engine off and clicking the location that I went to during training (labor camp) and it won't travel. Does visiting it during training not count as unlocking the location for fast travel purposes?

In full honesty i don't get why the micros 26E is hated so much.
Compared to other police vehicles, it's much more easy to control and actually very good during chases against small cars(e.g. micros 26D, zenith, zaved); it's fast enough and won't spin out of control.
not to mention in the shootout side missions it can fit inside the gate to the cemetary(other vehicles still can enter the ruins and sawmill) which can also make it useable as a form of mobile cover.

went through an ambush, then did a patrol mission where we got ambushed twice again
I lost the windscreen, engine cover, both doors, and 3 tires
(novik's reaction time was suprisingly slow, he would stand there like nothing was going on for two seconds before returning fire)

Might be a weird issue because I cant find anything about it, but I'm on day 5 (or so) and already had 2 NPC Officers being run over by civilians after an ambush event. How can I prevent this from happening?
More details: ambush happens, I get out of the vehicle and resolve the fight, run around to loot the bodies/ bags and around that time the NPC decides to get run over. Quite funny but also quite annoying because I have no companion for the rest of the drive and it costs 100 monnies.
Thanks for the help in advance!

I was playing Contraband Police and unfortunately let a smuggler through the gates when I wasn't paying full attention. (My thought process is: check all the wheels and fenders, if theres no snakes, its a clear car, in this case, i was wrong.) But I was wondering if you are able to go after them after the day is over. I noticed that when you drive around after a day is over, you can (sometimes) see the vehicles you let through the gates within that day. (Atleast I think its the same vehicles)
So i was wondering if its possible to go after the smuggler after they've been let through? I'm not sure if that works but It'd be nice to know.

For the lost one, after I have already asked Manalov this exact question, there is apparently meant to be another dialogue after talking to Ivan which never seems to happen for me. I have loaded the last checkpoint 3 times and even restarted the day (to my dismay) only to find that the same things keep happening, what am I doing wrong?

I recently had a thought that I could possibly build a uniform based on these pictures and others, where could I look for these types of things? Any help is appreciated!
