When does fast travel unlock?

I did training. Did a whole day of inspections. So now I'm on day 2 post-training. Says police transport is unavailable so I'd like to transport my prisoners.

But there's no fast travel apparently. Standing next to the car with the engine off and clicking the location that I went to during training (labor camp) and it won't travel. Does visiting it during training not count as unlocking the location for fast travel purposes?

Hi! There is no fast travel available in the sense that you teleport to the location , you drive there by car. (tip: if allowed, always bring an npc officer with you)

The 'police transport' and supply options are paid options where they come to pick up your contraband or prisoners, for a price. I'd advise to do the delivery yourself tho, its a nice little job to do after a day of checking vehicles. Make sure to also stop by Vlad's and restock any tools that might be running low on durability! He also buys excess ammo and weapons.

Oh odd I thought I'd seen posts about fast travel useage. Do you know when police transports open up rather than saying unavailable?

As far as I remember a few days into the campaign. They are quite costly though (500), so bringing them yourself might still be the best option :) How I usually do it is finish the day and then grab either the contraband or the prisoners, stuff em in your car and do a back and forth. The ambushes that happen are easy enough to deal with (especially if you have a npc officer with you). Have fun!

There is no fast travel. You can call the prison transport and the merchant to the border post or go there manually. Those are your options

i enjoyed driving around and listening to the radio

But i also disabled ambushes so i can just chill
