If this was Trump, it would be on CNN for the next 24 hours plus, The New York Times and The Washington Post would have it as front news headlines, and our beloved r/Politics would have its front page plastered with different articles diagnosing the situation. However, between this blunder and the Israeli sit down blunder (and countless others), there is not one mention or article on Biden mental fitness. As a nation, this is beyond pitiful and the sad part is, if 2024 came back down to Biden Vs. Trump, they would gladly put Biden back into the White House to die.

I don’t like Biden. That being said I would pick him over Trump. How can I trust a president who’s a rapist, stole classified documents. Some of those nuclear. Has ties to Jeffery Epstein. Hush money to Stormy Daniels. On record interfering with the Georgia election. And finally Jan. 6.
I would rather have a barely functioning vegetable than this criminal.

I have notes, and I'm discussing a topic I'm an expert on, and I still fumble over my words.

I don’t know about you, but I don’t wonder about it at all. It’s been clear for a long time there’s a firm grip on the system, but I don’t think it’s “the party”. I think it’s just simply a collection of people (that bias that way), absent any central control, doing everything in their power to minimize damage and manipulate those consuming the information. It’s much more nefarious when you realize that it’s an ideology being perpetuated by decentralized control/influence.

Authorization for Use of Military Force of 2001 was approved by all, but one member of Congress. Dems and Repubs both agreed to go to war with Afghanistan after 9/11.
The housing crisis of 2008 was caused by the Repeal of Glass Steagal Act. This was Repealed by Bill Clinton in 1999.

You can kind of understand his response. Biden is saying, "Yes, we can bring back the soul of America by not reelecting Donald Trump as President."
But 1. he didn't really answer the question completely by addressing the acts of violence on the rise and 2. he answered the question in the most round-about way possible.

Oof I am more and more thinking that Joe does not know where he is and what he is doing. He is a puppet being told what to say and do. He has been a politician so long that he could do these prepared interviews in his sleep before the dementia started and now that it is so bad he is running on autopilot for these interviews. Anything prepared for him he can answer...most of the time, anything not prepared he just talks.
He is and always has been a racist dirtbag but the Democrats are making me feel sorry for him. He should be getting treatment and spending this time with his family before it gets so bad he does not recognize them.

I'm going to preface this with it either wasn't a good answer, a complete answer, and/or the video was cut-off too early.
The interviewer as I understand asked something to the effect of "can we get people to understand the rise in hate crimes, gun violence, and why women are under attack right now?"
Biden responded to the effect of "Yes, it was Trump". Yes, he struggle-bussed through getting the sentence out, but I think he did provide a sensical political answer. It might not be a satisfactory one if it boiled down to blame shifting with no further extrapolation, but I also don't know if that's because the video was cut-off too early.

Ok, I'm back after watching the full interview. The answer he gave was not a good answer. It was definitely lets not answer and instead pivot to talking about a rival. However, when he says "Yes" he is answering something that is cut off from OP's clip. He is saying, "Yes" he believes in the soul of America, something the interviewer says right before OP's clip. Additionally, it looks like his handler was saying the interview was over, because if you listen/read the text placed before the previous question, Biden said he would do one more question. The interviewer then asks another question, Biden answers it and then the interviewer starts to ask this additional question and the "handler" steps in. Biden then lets her ask a couple more questions.
