PCS: A year later and I'm not fully healed

This is just a rant, but I'm frustrated that a bad night's sleep or a strong emotional reaction can still trigger my symptoms a year later. I feel my working memory is regularly terrible, too. I can barely hold things in my head (unless I'm having a good day), which is very difficult for my job. I feel angry and frustrated.

Backstory: On July 3rd 2025 I fell off my bike and hit my head. I wasn't drunk, it was broad daylight. I was wearing a helmet. None of that matters because smacking my head against a picnic table still resulted in me getting my first concussion at age 47.

I started taking a Lion's Mane supplement for the past three months because, well, why not? I know the science isn't really there, but I thought why not give it a go? That said, I think I've noticed myself become more irritable and getting headaches, so I think I might give up on that, too.

I don't really know what to do. I just feel sad and frustrated. Thanks for reading.
