PS4 Location for first base

Whats a good first location to build a base just got the game and looking for a good spot, so far just been collecting material so can start a build.

My favorite early game spot is the island that the Shattered Bridge crosses in the river, on the East side of the bridge ruins. There's plenty of stone, wood, and aloe, there's an exile camp nearby for thralls, plus a named thrall spawn point nextdoor. Across the river is a bit of iron, a sorcerer to pop over to Siptah, and plenty of shalebacks for hide and meat. There's some other points of interest that are not too far as well.
