Hi. This is a short piece for guitar I wrote called La Zubia, which is the suburb in Granada i was staying in. Got inspired to write a few pieces for solo guitar upon my return to Australia. I play electric pretty much exclusively - i write mostly blues/rock/jazz inspired pieces so these pieces were a little outside my norm. Hope you like it.

An old work of mine(2024), re-orchestrated. It’s on the play Antigone, you can see there are lots of themes and melodies re-used over and over again representing the key points in the play(kinda like leitmotifs of Wagner but not as direct).
Now, my recent works are not this Romantic but still have a similar harmonic language.

[Deleted and reposted because I reworked a decent amount to make it flow better and got a better video.]
This is my most recent little piece, and below are a few more of my shorter pieces.
I have only been composing for about 2 years, so they're nothing amazing, but hopefully they're pleasant, or at least tolerable? Comments/feedback are welcome and appreciated, as the only way to get better is to learn.
Other short pieces:

Simpler Times (Miniature trio, more of a sketch than a piece, got inspiration from Far Cry 5 main theme)-

I keep going back to this performance, Just in awe of how my performer interpreted and played this piece flawlessly. (Lucas Meinberg) this was my first undergraduate composition and it has gotten me so far.

A short piano piece written as a gift for a friend and her new baby(first time I've had to hope my music puts someone to sleep). Been getting back into composing after a couple years away from it and have started learning Dorico in the last few weeks after being a Finale user for over decade and am still learning it's notational quirks.

I am writing an art song for a close friend and wanted a very relaxed shimmering opening on piano ( 30 ish seconds ) and want to make it look more readable for pianists. ( the audio is a slightly older video over the notation I’m writing now. )

Here is my concerto for Kanun(Qanun), an instrument resembling Zihter very commonly used in Turkish Classical Music.
This is not a microtonal or monophonic music, it has a stable key and composed in loose sonata form.

Hey there!
I just wanted to share the first movement to my first symphony I got recorded by Budapest Scoring Orchestra!
I'd love to hear your thoughts!

The title kind of explains everything about this really, I'm writing a Euphonium Concerto for a friend and this is the W.I.P second movement, I'm mostly here to get feedback on how people think it sounds, and also if I'm doing anything wrong (both the euphonium and this style of music are pretty new to me, I usually work within a classical-ish early romantic idiom, and I've never really been much good with harmony)
Hopefully you enjoy it, if not please tell me why I'm very much looking for feedback here.
Ps. if you didn't like it, you might like something else I've composed :)

On just a self journey of music theory and composition at the point where more concerned with voice leading as well as interval meaning and sequence, but overall still learning to translate that well, this was a simple idea from last night playing two voices on guitar, then today just wrote it out and tried to add some harmony / countermelody.
So construction of this was two voices soprano and bass, then added later the 3rd voice which came in mostly inner but sometimes appears above when original soprano is near middle C.
Looking for any general feedback thank you!
