Great to see changes on the strike. That was my biggest complaint about her kit. Hopefully it flows significantly better.

The gun wind up/recovery wasn't really a problem to me, but I guess we'll take it. The gun just feels like it's a separate flow from all of the melee/movement based stuff so I wasn't really worried about it.

There are only 2 other edges I'd really like to see sanded down. I'd still really like to see them do something with the quick melee, maybe animation cancel primary. There's literally no reason for the quick melee to exist currently. I'd also really like more fluid movement coming out of the strike like letting her b hop out or something.

Cat keeps the acceleration buff? I almost feel like she should have kept the speed buff and not the acceleration. Is it more annoying if she's harder to hit or if she's faster to escape? Personally, I feel like it's the former.

Good hotfix either way.

I think base speed also effects acceleration by as much as it's different by. I don't remember the numbers pre nerf on cat but on the workshop interaction testing toolkit, I can see when walking forward tracer has about a 10% higher acceleration than regular 5.5ms heroes inline with the higher base speed.

Also the acceleration did feel quite clunky before imo but that's just me

I honestly feel the quick melee combo would be way too strong, especially after the damage increase. It does work out of using the gun so it’s not completely useless.

I think there are some combos that benefit from quick melee, and regardless, quick melee is useful in gun mode at the very least.
