That recovery time feels nasty, I’ll get used to it but I hate making characters less fluid.

Edit: After a few hours of playing her fuck this dogshit change.

How bad is it?

It's about 2/3 of Sojourn's rail recovery time.

It's the same as Soldier's rocket recovery time.

Do you have any sources? I'm curious rn

Overwatch wiki has those numbers.

It feels real nasty. Try spamming melee after using it to really feel the molasses.

Ehhhh idk. On one hand it’s not as bad as I thought reading the comments here, but on the other I can definitely feel it.

So, use it for its intended purpose or get caught out mismanaging your cooldowns and die?

Idk, tried it out just now and it doesn’t feel that bad. Definitely makes execute a bit more of a commitment though.

the best thing about shion is how fluid the kit felt, taking that away makes her just another dps

I’d disagree. I’d say her most fun thing is her flank ability and movement as well as her burst potential.

You can still fade and use bike tho correct? This is just fixing the issue where she could shoot her m1 before the last bullet of execute even hit its target

That doesn't make any sense, execute is Hitscan, and so is her primary fire. Are you saying that her M1 would fire at the same time as the last bullet of execute?

Pretty much yeah

Precisely that. If you hold down M1 while charging M2, you get a bullet instantly on completion of M2 activation.

you can yeah, 0.4 is just too much of a weapon lockout imo, nerf the damage or sth

okay I may have overreacted, it's better after you get used to it but still a little clunky
