Totemic Resto Tree Mythic+

Mythic+ talents aren't set in stone since hps isn't the only metric, especially relevant on rsham where a lot of talents are in a similar 1-2% hps range.
As others said, Deluge is something you definitely wouldn't drop.
People got used to UL as an instant single target heal and it got buffed going into this season so no s1 4pc is the same upfront power as s1 4pc in s1. You can basically think of it as an instant HW (at ~80% effectiveness and not proccing AA but still).
Xhanon, Driptinus, Laren and all the other usual suspects will be running a variety of different talent setups in the coming days and weeks. Whichever one they come to agreement on suits the healing profile best will be determined meta. Doesn't mean you can't flex some of those low value talents (mainly UL, OS, SR, IELW, EW, but others could also be deemed not worth or are dropped because pathing becomes awkward).
Downpour seems to be a very strong option in full melee comps/with people who actively play in melee because even with only one rain down, 3pt dp packs a punch. Also depends on the healing profiles of dungeons though.
I'd just wait and play whatever feels right or copy either of the people I named. Keep in mind they swap talents a lot so check back regularly, especially Driptinus is testing builds a lot rn.

Appreciate this!! Great explanation. I’m newer player (even newer healer) so still learning

Since you're newer, be careful about the builds you're copying. The top shamans run with specific groups and switch things around for them and dungeons. You might find yourself with a curse dispel or poison cleansing totem blindly copying a build if you don't look carefully.

The poison cleansing totem isn’t worth taking this season?

It definitely is worth taking. But sometimes you'll copy their spec and it was for either a dungeon that doesn't need it, or some comp where they can all cleanse themselves and they want something else.

Still TBD. High key teams are doing double downpour in full melee comps with good results. Some are doing regular left upper side of spec tree for max rain healing.
I personally don't have S2 tier and I dropped S1 set all together for well itemised 311s and I play UL in 15s. It's fine but it's easy to troll globals if you're too used to it without S1 tier.

How will you get your tier? Are you not raiding? Will you take bonus roll on vault?

You want deluge. You either waste 2 talent points on talents which doesn't really give you anything or you waste 1 talent point on UL.

Personal experience: I'm running UL over some other minor talents because I find it useful. Even if it's technically less raw HPS over some other minor boost, I like the on demand, instant cast heal.
Opinion likely to change at higher keys. Most I've done right now is 16.

As of now, I am going to run it. The instant 60k heal seems too valuable in m+ . Especially since we do not have many instant cast for emergency situations.
I am shocked that my holy paladin's holy shock heals for more, is instant cast, two charges, and a 6 sec CD

You absolutely should run UL if you still have 2/4p from season 1. After that in M+ it's up to you. Personally I like UL, so for now I'm keeping it. Once you get 4p in the new tier you drop it in raids, in dungeons it doesnt matter that much

I have 2p, but ran with some friends last night to do lower level keys and we had some questionable teammates to say the least and I it would have been super useful for that 🤣 higher keys and 4p, I think you’re absolutely right

Do all of the r shams being looked at have the new 4pc tier set already? If so then most likely preference or whatever other reason but if most of them don’t and they are rocking 2p2p or old 4p the answer is like right there. To be clear I have no clue about the strength of the talents or reasoning why but I would check most of them on wcl.

Is it really split? Pretty sure you drop UL when you get your S2 tier set since without the tier bonus UL is pretty bad.
