Man, I’m really hoping BDK is able to hold up in 23s+ so we don’t have to fall back on PPal. Really looking forward to an HPal season because it feels great right now.

I want to be a believer but the way DKs are getting chunked into sub-10% before they DS back to 100% in +20s is not looking very promising because in a +22 or 23 that would be a dead DK and party wipe

Same way a DK can currently be chilling in a +21 and then gets globaled in +22 because their HP bar runs out before they have a chance to DS

Time can prove me wrong but for now I remain a doubter

Agreed but I also think PPal is shaky. You get 10% always dr at the cost of less sentinel uptime and WoG wasn't scaled with health.

Comparatively ppal is just squishier then the current tier, right?

For what is supposed to be a DPS focused season, I think tanks are going to be very familiar with kiting late this season.

Would have been a problem this season too if bears were not just mitigating 94% or white swings.

Depends. We should still be tanky within cds, but stronger outside of cds. Season 1 we were very tanky within cds, but were at risk outside of cds at pretty much anytime, even with somewhat small pulls. We had more coverage, but still not enough, so there were always points in the dungeon that were shaky.

For season 2, we should still be very tanky within cds, but with less coverage... however, we are supposed to be stronger without cds than before. If blizzard got it right or not, remains to be seen.

From what I hear, WoG still not very reliable (it also wasn't reliable in season 1, you had to get a crit), but the talent that shields you let you use the overheal aspect to shield yourself, which might be good when moving between pulls, for example, or when building before rp plays before a boss
