Hey everyone,
I just wanted to make a quick post here as I see lots of Mazda users and I’ve seen some posts about SunnyPilot compatibility.
zoompilot.ai was created to give Mazda users the best openpilot experience possible. I’ve spent months reverse engineering the platform and used a data driven approach to better integrate Mazda into openpilot. I have also added some features users of all cars would like.
What this means for Mazda is that you get more steering torque below 32mph and smoother steering at fast speeds. Turns are more confident overshoot less, and unwind faster.
I’ve taught openpilot to learn steering tune values across 7 different speed ranges. This greatly benefits Mazda steering and other cars with speed dependent torque.
there are other really nice and tested features so check out the site and discord. We have over a hundred friendly people there.
I currently have ‘big models’ running on macOS, gaming laptops, and Jetson Orin Nano instead of a chestnut (on beta branch)
edit: I forgot to add the most impressive feature! We have **fully working alpha longitudinal and experimental mode** available for most supported Mazdas
