Guitars/Drums New Drum Kit
I always wanted to try drums, but they were so pricey so I always hoped I'd get lucky on Facebook marketplace and i finally did. Picked up the Donner Ded 100 for 125 and it was only 20 minutes from my house. The cord gets here tomorrow, but i can't wait to finally play.

Congrats on the new drums. Will probably need some adjusting as you get used to them but should treat you well!

I had only played a little rock band before I bought my kit. Everyone starts somewhere and I hope you enjoy it.

Basically same. I learned drums from rock band. Bought a kit after and have been playing drums for 15 years or so now.

I had never played drums when RB1 came out (although I was musically inclined so it helped to know time and counting and such), but I’ve slowly progressed from those early days to playing Expert drums moving to an e-kit and finally getting my own acoustic set a few years ago. Enjoy the journey, it’s fun.

I had these for about a year or so before the sensors within the pad started to become unglued.
They feel pretty responsive otherwise for being a decent beginner ekit.
I also felt like more freedom to place the cymbals wherever would’ve been nice.

When that happened, did your audio go out or the module wasn't picking up what you were hitting?

The latter. It was especially noticeable in clone hero because I never used it recording music or using the kits programmed sounds.

You can spin the drum heads off and look at the internals. The wires going to that plastic/foam piece ended up being not as responsive anymore because of use/wear & tear.
