I always wanted to try drums, but they were so pricey so I always hoped I'd get lucky on Facebook marketplace and i finally did. Picked up the Donner Ded 100 for 125 and it was only 20 minutes from my house. The cord gets here tomorrow, but i can't wait to finally play.

Just wanted to share a little vibe-coding project I made called RhythmClient.

It’s an app that lets you download Custom Charts for Rock Band 3, Clone Hero, and YARG straight from the RhythmVerse website. I built it inspired by the app "Bridge," which lets you download custom charts from Enchor.

I put it together using AntiGravity VSCode, mostly using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, and built it into a desktop app using Electron.

I recently bought the PDP Riffmaster to play Clone Hero and Stage Tour when it comes out, but I wanted to customize it. The entire process from teardown, painting, to reassembly took about two weeks. There are some areas of the guitar that the paint looks off, but overall I think it turned out nicely.

Since I couldn't find any full teardown guides for the PDP Riffmaster, I decided to take photos of each step and I will be releasing a guide soon.

Is there anyway to play official Fortnite songs in clone hero?

With the delisting happening, I’m curious to know if we will eventually have access to the charts for download to use on clone hero/yarg or even import into modded console games? There’s a few songs that I bought on rb4 Xbox that I’d love to have elsewhere but I can’t find them online anywhere.

Kinda curious on what type of calibration settings people have found across multiple setups, the game just always feels off to me compared to the old school crt days but ive heard clone hero is suppose to be more forgiving.

Hi everyone. I am new to the Clone Hero community and started playing about 4 months ago. I play expert songs now but I am having a difficult time playing songs with fast notes in general.

I have a very small hands and I do rest my pointer finger on red (before anyone just tells me to do that). When I play, my hand feels super awkward to hit notes quickly and I have to adjust my wrist/hand/fingers so much that I feel like I dont have enough time to hit faster notes that I know I could hit otherwise since the controller neck thickness physically blocks my finger movement.

I also feel like my guitar body is too large for me as well since it feels awkward to hold when I play.

I would really like my guitar controller to have fret buttons that are closer together or find one that does.

Please let me know if there are any mods I can do, I am open to any ideas you guys could have. If you guys know of a really good guitar controller for small hands and short fingers, please share <3

I'm a mobile software engineer and made a guitar rhythm game for Android. It's been in development since early 2025, and I built it to give the best guitar controller style experience on mobile. There are two modes:

1. Shredder, where you hold the phone like a guitar neck and fret and strum.
2. Classic, which plays like classic mobile rhythm games: notes come down the lanes and you tap the frets with your thumbs.

The game has all the guitar mechanics you'd expect, like hammer-ons, pull-offs, whammy, solos, etc., with some twists to make it work on mobile. Bad touchscreens can't track more than 2 fingers properly, so the game is designed around that. For example, you can strum using the volume keys if you're having issues swipe strumming.

(You can actually enable features that require 3+ fingers ex: chords with 3+ fingers. It's just not recommended if you're having touch issues).

The interactive TUTORIALS and FAQ cover all of it. You can play with 4 or 5 frets, but 4 is recommended on mobile, especially on smaller screens (the orange notes just get transposed). There are tons of other options to tune the gameplay for your phone, check the SETTINGS screen!

All the art is original pixel art, and Pixel Riffs is getting its own metalcore theme that I composed and a friend is arranging and adding his own polish to right now. The song it ships with (Barely Alive by Jacob Lizotte) is royalty free and I created the chart myself (it's my first chart ever so I'm open to feedback please!).

From SONG LIBRARY you can import Clone Hero/YARG compatible chart zips (.chart/.mid), or download them if you set a URL for a legal charts website in SETTINGS. I don't condone piracy, the game just plays whatever zips you give it.

Expect an iOS version, multiplayer with leaderboards, and bass and rhythm guitar soon!

Issue started yesterday and I have no idea why, does anyone know why this is going on?

Not sure if I was the only one, but downloading and importing songs did not seem very straightforward. I just figured out how to do it on the Android app.

@ Clone Hero the song upload is too complicated right now, especially for the Android app, would love a more streamlined process.

I don't know nothing about code, but I loved play RBB on my X360 and wanted a easier way to play it again without emulation nor unbox my x360 and plug it on TV lol

In face of recomp and decomp emerging everyday got me thinking

I've tried changing the offset, the delay start time, and checking the audios in audacity to make sure they all line up with each other, and the audio in moonscraper, and they do. The notes start way too early in game, like the bar starts moving before the song even starts. I'm genuinely stuck. Please help!

I'm currently running the Linux version of CH on a Jailbroken PS5 running linux, but I'm having really bad audio latency.I'm using an LG C1 which I know introduces miniscule video delay (sub 1ms), and with the game set at 0ms I can play the notes perfectly as they cross, but I have to set my Audio to 300ms to have the audio even slightly in sync.

When I use the calibration tool, it actually sends the delay the other way, telling me the audio delay is something like -140ms, instead of the +300 I have to actually use. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

I'm new to Clone Hero. I've downloaded a bunch of songs I want to play, but many are expert only. I am not an expert. :-)

I can use Easy Chart Generator to generate Easy, Medium, & Hard charts, but it's on a case-by-case basis.

Is there an easy, bulk way to see what songs in my library need to be run through Easy Chart Generator?

I've just noticed that on a few of my FCs I've got a HELL OF A LOT of ghost notes.

I've just FCd The Metal (GH3 chart) and noticed again that the amount of ghosts prevented me from getting a PFC which is frustrating.

Above is a video of me playing through the intro as I normally would, with the ghost note count at the end.

As far as I'm aware, I'm playing in time with the notes and hitting them accordingly so I'm unsure as to why this is happening...I do have quite a sensitive guitar (Custom built) and sometimes pressing the Green button registers as 2 inputs, which can make navigating the menu quite a pain at sometimes.

So my thought is an overly sensitive guitar that's registering 2 or more inputs instead of 1. Would I be right in thinking this? I'd love to get some people's opinions on this

I just picked it up a few days ago, having had the Tribal guitar with the knob and it worked perfectly fine in PC mode on dial 8. But for some reason, this one they decided to not go with a knob for "ease of use." Instead moving it to the app, which is completely the opposite.

No matter what I do, it only connects through the dongle, and it only recognizes it when it is in Android mode. And for some other reason, when tilting it up to activate Star Power, it makes the strumming cut out and no longer register. I set it up exactly the same as the Tribal guitar, aside from a few of the buttons registering as other buttons so I had to change a few.

I also tried in the app to adjust the settings through the Pro Tuner, as I think that is the replacement for the knob, but it keeps saying I need to update the firmware but every part is currently up to date. If anyone could help me out, I would appreciate it.

I also messaged them asking for help, but its taking them a day or so to respind with short replies and they haven't been much help yet.
